Free Tickets for Bush event in Cedar Rapids If you are interested, here is how you can get free tickets to see the president in Cedar Rapids Friday night. You need to go, in person, to Insync in Hiawatha between 8:00a.m. and 8:00p.m. any day through Thursday. Insync is at 820 North 20th Avenue in Hiawatha. You'll need to provide your name, address, phone number and photo identification. And there is a maximum of four tickets per person.

Just heard a radio ad stating former Senator Max Cleland will be appearing with John Kerry's "band of brothers" (Yes, that what it said, 4 or 5 times!) at the Paramount Theater. I believe they said it'll start at 6:30 PM. I don't know whether that means Kerry will be there. But, at any rate, this sounds like a great opportunity to FReep the dirtbag outside the theater, starting at 5:30 or 6. Please post any suggestions for clever signage. President Bush is squeezing in some campaigning before the political spotlight turns to next week's Democratic National Convention in Boston.
