A Flag of Inconvenience by Paul Albers January 14, 2005 Over 300 Boy Scouts from Ontario and New York State gathered at Rattlesnake Point in Milton, Ontario this past summer for a four-day 'Camporee'. I had the opportunity to observe one of the American troops conduct a flag retirement ceremony on the final evening and I was struck by the reverence displayed.
