The provided link for Tibet can not open, but it doesn’t mean
i can’t find Tibet info in website. There are huge info about Tibet when i used Google to search.Wiki with the history of Tibet can open, and i have a screenshot for it.
    I also found more info on Tibet from website in English:such as “http://www.nytimes.com/2008/04/13/opinion/13sperling.html?_r=1&ref=opinion&oref=slogin";
    http://www.case.edu/affil/tibet/moreCenterInfo/internet_newsletter.htm?,
    http://www.infoplease.com/ce6/world/A0861546.html
    http://cc.purdue.edu/~wtv/tibet/history.html
    ........................

The similar info could be obtained everywhere, and i just quoted several from the first page of google search results.

It’s meaningless to block info in such a time, with the info readily to get almost everywhere. And it’s also very ridiculous for anyone to believe we can be fooled because of the blocked info. The similar info is much, and not all the info can be blocked. We can always get the info we want. There is indeed censorship and blocks in the website of China, but it doesn’t mean we don’t know this, and we can be fooled. While i also know it will take some time for us to be more open.

It’s very boring to talk about this here.In fact,i have decided to keep silent the day before yesterday after the debate with “12”,but i will post this new again. If we all keep silent, someone will say:”see, you are blocked, you have no access to FR.You fools”.I will always be here, but learn to keep silent, and post when necessary. It’s meaningless to do this, someone don’t deserve it.

At the beginning,i have always expressed my different opinion about China. But the more i said, the more i have been suspicious.I am a civilian, and i work in a company,i am not an official, but i have been a “Chicom Troll” here finally. How terrible! If i continue to express my different voice,i would even be thought to be a spy in near future.I realized the reason why i am a “”Chicom Troll” here. It’s very naive that i want to change someone’s views of China with my different voice. It’s impossible. It’s very hard to change the born bias.

One should know much of others before criticising them and laughing at them, especially thinking in the others’ way would strengthen each other’s understanding. One can not comment others base to their own standard. It’s the same as “i compared the reaction of Katrina hurricane and caused somebody flied into a rage”.Different countries have different policies, and all are based to their own condition. It’s naive to criticise others when know one point, and don’t know another. I understand your opinion,as you are so-educated when you began to know the world,it’s dictatorial and unimaginary in your mind when some countries block the internet, and their people enjoy no free speech and parade rights. But for me it’s acceptable.Don’t say i am brainwashed. It’s about 60 years for Chinese to be a new independent country, with instability and poor people, and no advanced systems available. While it’s about 292 years for your side to become an advanced country. It’s also very hard at the beginning,wars/poors/,it always need much time to obtain a harmonious social systems. To be honest, there are many problmes in china at present, but it doesn’t mean it will be always like this.Mild changes and innovations haven taken place in China, and it will keep going, but it’s still a long term task.

It may be difficult for you to understand the above i wrote,as the ideation way is different from Chinese and Americans. For example, the place are always is from big to small in Chinese, small to big in English(Nanjing Rd,Beijing,China in US way, whie”China Beijing,Nanjing Rd” in Chinese way). And that’s the reason why we are always told”Pls post in English”.What we said is “Chinese-English”,and hard for you to comprehend it,try many times.Thanks.

    P.S.I am female.

    From 12Gauge687 | 05/26/2008 5:33:24 AM PDT read

    Dear Moron,

This was my relatives’ experience in Taiwan under the Kuomingtang. Once they became somewhat prosperous and learned others were also dissatisfied, they demanded better performance from government officials, better products from local vendors, and better construction from contractors.

Info can be found in Chinese periodicals printed in the West. They are readily available at any Asian market.

Finally. Before you bitch and moan about Katrina, please learn how the Federalist system of government works. Books written by and about John Adams are a good start. A “federal republic” such as the USA is made up of 50 (in the case of America) sovereign states. The federal government must get permission to enter or be invited by the elected officials of a state. The sovereign state of Louisiana did not respond immediately to questions by the federal authorities. When they did respond the federal government received conflicting information.

Welcome to the Free Republic site; now please learn some English before posting again on this forum.

    ****************
Why don’t you post this publicly?

LOL,i am no good at English, that’s true. From what you said above, waht i saw is a clown.”Moron/bitch”..your words to describe a person who shares the different opinion with you.A citizen in advanced countries. How ridiculous! We learned to share the different opionions more than 2000 years ago.And the method to deal with these people are not obloquy/insult,but convincing people by reasoning. It’s very boring to talk with you.I won’t waste my time again!

A one-party state cannot long survive, especially in these times when information is so readliy available.

    **********
Oppositely, the one-party state may last even longer than you have expected, especially in these times when information is so readily available. The more we know from internet, the harder we realise our development. We must draw together more closer than before,do we have a brighter future.
    **********

The disaffection of an educated middle-class will be accelerated though knowledge of corruption. It is only a matter of time before Castro, Chavez, Mugabe, and their ilk are done for.

    *************
What makes you think”The disaffection of an educated middle-class will be accelerated though knowledge of corruption. “? You know the public opinion of Chinese. Can you share where you found this info? Or imagined by yourselves.
Chinese has the different situation from any other countries in the world.Large population, developing countries,so the regime/policy will be different from other countries either. The best regime may not be the appropriate regime for China.Don’t put your own cap on others’ heads.

It’s the “barbarian /autarchy “authority who arrived at the disaster center around 4 hours after it happened. What about the New Orleans disaster?

It’s the “barbarian /autarchy “authority who leads their people to live a better life.
It’s the “barbarian /autarchy “dominator who are improving their practices.Opener than before.
    .....

You won’t know the real”barbarian” regime in China until you get rid of your born bias.

When the rescue team found her,she was dead already, she was pressed dead by the collapsed building. This is the most great dead posture:Both of her knees genuflected, body pitched front, hands upheld here body in a grovel posture. Afterwards, the rescue team found a baby alive under her body. The baby is about 3 or four months old, nothing affected. When the doctor began to do physical examination for the baby,a cellphone was found in the blanket, and one short message was shown in the screen:"Dear Baby,if you can be alive, you must remember i love you." The cellphone was past by people in scene, and everyone cried.

That being said, when it comes to saving their own, the ChiComs are great. Otherwise,....

I am not very clear about the meaning of this

sentence:”That being said, when it comes to saving

their own, the ChiComs are great. Otherwise”

Whether you attack CCP or not.
    If attack,pls stop,you don’t know them at all,from

western miede, what you saw is all the

    criticism/unjustice.You can not comment them

impersonally. If you want to know more, i’am willing to chat with you.
If you praise them, pls disregard my above comments due to my poor English.

When i saw the above photo,i can not help cring. On May.16,when 11 boy Zhang Jiwan with his 3 year sister on his back appeared in front of the reporter, this little brother had walked more than 10 hours holding his sister. At 5pm on May.16 in Beichuan city, one group appeared from the remote mountains.Their eyes show the attaching to their parents/relatives,afraid to be divided again. 11 year boy walked very hardly with his sister Zhanghan on his back. While his Grandfater and Grandmother are to old to do so,and walked along with them. His parents went out to make money. So little Jiwan has taken the responsibility to take care of his little sister. He said,he loved his sister very much. **************** From the pic,we can see the little girl is very naive, and she is too little to realize what has happened around her.She also didn't know how hard is for her 11 year brother to do so.It's very hard to imagine what's support this little boy has walked for more than 10 hours. The byway in Sichuan is very hard to walk.Chinese old proverb says:"蜀道难,难于上青天." In this proverb,蜀 means Sichuan. The meaning is the road in Sichuan(or Walking in Sichuan) is harder than you climb to the sky.Maybe you can imagine the hardness for this little boy to do so.
