Amazing...the Hartford Courant, the New Haven Register, and the CT Post have endorsed Bush and there is still not a prayer that Bush will win CT - makes me want to move.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- A New Haven man arrested after police found a cache of assault weapons and hate literature in his home used the identity of a dead Pennsylvania man to buy an illegal rifle, police said Wednesday.
Charles Cornelius, 31, was arrested Tuesday after police raided his Forest Road home and found several AR-15 assault weapons, a pistol grip shotgun, 25 hand grenades, six 50-pound bags of ammonium nitrate fertilizer and two cans of explosives, among other items.
Among the hate literature found in the home were documents connected to Matt Hale's World Church of the Creator, police said. Hale, a white supremacist from Illinois, has staged rallies in Wallingford over the past year.
Cornelius, who appeared in court Wednesday on those charges, will face additional charges related to the purchase of an illegal sniper rifle, police said. Police say Cornelius used the identity of Jason Johnson, a deceased Pennsylvania man, to buy the rifle in Seymour. The weapon has not been found.
Police also said that Cornelius, who attended but did not graduate from the Hopkins School near his home, may have had a vendetta against some former students and teachers. Letters containing threats against Hopkins alumni and teachers were among the hate literature and other white supremacist propaganda found in the home, police said.
School officials declined to comment.
Superior Court Judge Joan Alexander set bond for Cornelius at $2.6 million and called him a threat to public safety.
Cornelius lived at the home of his parents, who have not been charged.
