ABSOLUTELY! What we are seeing is the devaluing of the currency but hard assets (corporate property, equipment, facilities, etc.) have “intrinsic” value. We are also seeing both inflation and cost reduction at the same time.

For example, if an asset (a tractor for a semi) takes 1000 man hours to produce and $10000 in materials at the days rates it is created, then it has a “value” baseline. If that man hours to produce cost $10 then we have a $20,000 baseline “value”. The sales PRICE at the baseline date is $30K (50% markup).

If the currency is debauched (devalued) so that it now buys LESS than before, say the currency is only worth 1/2. Then that same $20K base “value” is now $40K AND the $30K sale price is now $60K.

On top of the “funny money” games the interest rates are being kept ARTIFICIALLY LOW! So that businesses, and banks, can acquire capital more easily. Cost of goods and services rises, the “inflation” is built into the price of everything, and the “profit” goes up. Because the “profit” is with cheaper dollars that are actually worth less than before.

I think we should start lobbying ALL of the Congressional Repubs to ELIMINATE the Nautional Education Assocation. Take the money and divert it to the states in a declining fashion for 10 years to eventually ELIMINATE IT as a budget line item.

Here is what that does:

1. It returns proper power to the state.
2. It temporarily protects some of the teaching jobs at the state level.
3. It sets up a WAR between the Unions, the Democrat party and the American people who would WANT the money sent back the states.
4. It sets up a WAR between the Demo-fascists, the Federal Unions and the LOCAL teachers unions as well!

What a great way to stop the TRASH that should have NEVER happened at the fedral level.

I’m not sure about that. I used to think like you, that America needed judges. Then I had a rude awakening about these lawyers with black robes.

1. We have black robed lawyer provided abortion on demand.
2. We have black robed lawyer provided siezure of private property through the Kelo decision expanding eminent domain to private business.
3. We have black robed lawyer provided flag burning and crucifixes in urine as “free speech” but professing faith in any form of Christianity is considered a “crime” in states like Pennsylvania during “gay” pride parades.
4. We have black robed lawyer provided Freedom OF Religion converted into Freedom FROM Religion.
5. We are dealing with the Ninth Circus Black Robed Lawyers who are considering whether they should redefine marriage.
6. We have black robed lawyer defined “absolute immunity” which means NO ONE can ever sue them or hold them accountable for even ILLEGAL activities that they do in their job UNLESS there is enough of a public outcry.
7. We have black robed lawyer extended “absolute immunity” to the other branches of government (Congress and President) so that the other branches of government will never challenge their self imposed supremacy.
8. We have black robed lawyer defined “free speech” as pornography, foul language, etc., but you dare not show any form of Christianity anywhere but your “personal space.”
9. Etc., etc. etc.

I’m not so sure that the black robed lawyers are doing America any good. I just wonder if America wouldn’t be better off eliminating lawyers and just having NORMAL PEOPLE with common sense deal with controversies.

BELIEVE me when I say that to expect the legal system to do ANYTHING that will help America is crazy.

You are talking about INSANE LAWYERS with Black Robes doing the right thing? What about the INSANE LAWYERS in Congress? Or the looney Lawyer in the Whitehouse?

Lawyers, especially lawyers in black robes have caused most of America’s problems.

Two, Verizon didn't lay that cable to your house on a purely free market basis in the first place. In fact, depending on where you live, your local government could have given Verizon a legal monopoly in your area in order to encourage Verizon to make the big investment in laying that cable.

No doubt this has happened in some marketplaces. And interestingly you are actually arguing against your main point of government control. Verizon had to be INDUCED to take the financial risk and investment or there would be NO service!

anti-Republicrat, you missed the whole point. Internet access IS available, and the “crackdown” on the Net has NOT happened.

The ONLY reason the FCC would even consider any discussion about Internet regulation is to CHANGE the current state. My point with McDonald’s access is simple, TODAY anyway anyone has pretty much free access to post and distribute or comment or engage in any kind of Internet enabled speech they want.

There is NO REASON for the government to get involved at all. Beyond the current Telco regulations there is NO REASON for any FCC intervention.

So, the biggest freedom of expression engine and vehicle the world has ever seen in its history suddenly needs FCC intervention?

What complaints are there that the internet in the United States anyway (not China) is not wide open with free speech?

Fact is Wi-Fi and various forms of Internet access are available EVERYWHERE! You can even go to a McDonalds to get access if you want!

The idea that some people are somehow restricted is a bunch of BULL$&@^. It may not be CONVENIENT for everyone, but WiFi and Internet access is available EVERYWHERE! And if you are cheap enough, it is FREE!

There is NO REASON for this net neutrality trash. It is nothing but a tool for the FASCIST DEMOCRATS to try to gain control of the only truly FREE medium there is. They do NOT like the power and the freedom of the Internet. They do NOT like the lack of control!

got the wrong post reference... It’s been about a year since I last visited FR... My bad. Just saw this WSJ snippet and realized that it could have HUGE impacts. Especially since the Demo-Fascists are bent on power and control.

After all, we are talking about the political machine that wants:

1. Dead babies,
2. Terrorists provided U.S. Constitutional rights,
3. Pervert marriage although a vast majority of the public is against it (i.e. “gay” marriage).
4. Disrupt the military with a radical change in policy for “don’t ask don’t tell”.

THE FLAGRANT VIOLATION OF FEDERAL LAW, by providing “marriage” benefits to gays (i.e. they are violating FEDERAL LAW that specifically excludes gays).

5. The complete and total attack on capitalism with regressive taxation.
6. The complete destruction of the American economy with insane spending sprees (like drunken sailors, or maybe more like HEROIN addicts looking to steal from Americans for their next fix).

The day Net Neutrality as a concept dies is the day that corporate control of communication becomes dominant.

We have corporate control today, and guess what, it is TOTALLY FREE! By free I don't mean in price, but in whatever content you want to publish. The marketplace decides whether it is worth anything.

What the FCC and Obamacrats (i.e. FASCISTS) want is TOTAL CONTROL of the means of communication. Just like the Chinese. They want to be able to restrict and control the message.

If I'm not mistaken, the FCC was slapped down by the federal courts for trying to implement Net Neutrality.

And you REALLY think that the Democrats (i.e. the FASCISTS) really care about the Supreme Court? Their objective is POWER! Pure, fanatical, insane POWER! They do not care how they get it, they do not care who is destroyed in the process, and with them, the ends justify the means. If they gain enough POWER they will simply replace the entire Supreme Court....
