The thing is that he made his defense with VFW members standing behind him in a VFW Hall.

He isn’t eligible to be a member of the VFW either according to their membership requirements.

She never lost, but the case against Full Tilt was dismissed.

I play internet poker on Full Tilt. It is not illegal, It is illegal for financial institutions to make electronic transactions between gambling sites and themselves. There are means to deposit and withdraw without using electronic means, which is not illegal.

This law was attached to the port security bill after midnight and at the last minute before the Senate passed the bill. The kind of thing the “Tea Party” people find outrageous.

Besides it is none of the governments business what people do with their own money.

  • Kiran Chetry Axed From 'Fox and Friends' For Gretchen Carlson

In fact since FOX fired Kiran Chetry American Morning has gained in the ratings war and Fox and Friends have gone down. Something is going on over at Fox. The hosts have appeared stressed out for some time.

If Katie Coric or whatever her name is is worth 15 million then Fox was getting a bargin for what Kiran’s agent was asking.

I haven’t watched Fox and Friends since they stabbed Kiran Chetry in the back. They have been going down hill since they got rid of Mike, Juliet, Julian, E.D, and Julian. The people currently on Fox and Friends don’t act as if they are having any fun at all.

On the other hand CNN’s American Morning has improved with the addition of Kiran Chetry and John Roberts. For the first time I see a couple of people co-hosting the show that laugh. John Roberts said the other day that when he was sworn in as an American citizen the judge told them that they now have a duty to defend their new country. That is unheard of on CNN. Kiran Chetry was also interviewing a couple of CNN reporters that had been in Iraq for a while. They were alway critical of the way America’s leaders were handling the job there. Kiran asked them if America should pull out and what would happen. They said they had never been asked that before and answered no and that it would be total chaos if America were to leave. This is also something never before seen on CNN.

  • RNC Chief Sees Three Lessons in GOP Losses

The reason the Republicans lost has been lost to the Republican leadership in less than a day.

Illegal immigration is the sole reason for the Republican lost. The Republicans told their base to get lost and ignored all of the mail and phone calls they received on the illegal immigration issue. Their base responded by staying home or voting otherwise.

If the Republicans return to Washington and addresses the issue in a serious way and make being an illegal, hiring illegals, and renting to illegals a felony they will get me back in two years.

This year they paid token attention to the issue. They produced a bill to build a 700 mile fence without funding it or addressing the hiring of illegals. They passed a port security bill that did nothing about making it illegal for foreign companies to manage the ports.

The Republicans brought this on themselves.

Bush asked why a Middle Eastern company should face a higher standard, and he still hasn't gotten an answer.

I have written his office, e-mailed his office, and telephoned his office with an answer. Middle Eastern countries should face a higher standard. No foreign country anywhere should be allowed to run any part of our ports.

There may not be any Fortune 500 companies listed with the Wall Street that can run the ports, but there are many small businesses in every one of our port cities run shipping, handleing, and inventory every day. That is their business. Give these small businesses the same breaks they give any immigrant starting new business in our country. They can do the job.

This is a deal between a British firm and the UAE. There is nothing we can do but kick both companies out of our ports. If the President doesn't kick them out it is an act of treason and should be treated as such.

A person being stalked would not hire friends or relatives of the stalker to work on their house. Why should the United States hire a friend and relative of terrorist to work in our ports?

What makes Tony Snow an expert on security? Probably 90% of those serving in Congress and the White house would fail to qualify for a security clearance if they were privates in the military. Those standards are high. A speeding ticket would have disqualified one from getting a top secret clearance when I was in the army. It seems the standard has been lowered in the past thirty years.

There would have been hell to pay if the port contract was awarded to Halliburton.

However no foreign company or country should even be allowed to rent an office in one of our ports. This includes England. These ports are high security zones.

As a Bush supporter in most areas I recognize that the President is taking the side of two foreign owned companies against America. This is treason and he should be impeached.

No foreign owned company should be allowed to have office space inside of our ports.

I will vote democrat if the republicans refuse to side with our country.

They will have a office at the port. That office will have computers. Those computers can e-maill photo's of the ports day to day operations.

It seems that many of the same people that were concerned when Presidents Carter and Clinton allowed this to happen thinks it is just fine for President Bush to allow it to happen.

Remember what the Japanese were doing prior to WWII. They were traveling our roads and picking up scrap metal and sending it back to Japan. They gave it back to us at Pearl Harbor.

    This is treason.

I am a Bush supporter, but for the life of me I cannot understand his reasoning. To allow any foreign government or company other than American to even maintain an office at one of ports, let alone manage the loading and unloading of shipments is the same as treason and should be treated as such.

If the President doesn't stop this then impeachment proceedings should start now. Like I said, this is treason.

I am a Special Forces Veteran of the Vietnam War. I am in contact with thousands of Special Forces Veterans past and present. So far I have not been able to find even one person from Special Forces that has ever heard of Frank Cookinham. I have been trying.

I doubt if there is even a dozen 1st Sgts serving in both Iraq and Afghanistan at any one time. Special Forces is a small tight knit community and finding somebody that knows somebody else is not hard. Nobody has come forward saying that they know him or have heard of him.

The trouble with McClintock is he is a career politician. He has been serving in office during the time all of this mess has been happening and has had a lot of chances to make his voice heard in the past and has failed to lead.

I will not vote for anybody that currently holds office or has held office in the past. The politicians have destroyed our state and until we fire all of them we have no hope.

The only trouble with this recall is that it never recalled all of the Legislature along with Davis. Davis only signs a budget, but the Legislature writes and passes it.

If you guys want to help the Republicans I would suggest that you encourage them to get some new blood in there. Might as well encourgae the Democrats to vote for Feinstein. Yes there is a Democrat named Dan Feinstein on the ballot that is related to Dianne, but doesn't like her to well.

    I voted for number 13.

Some of those designs made one think that California got its nick name, The Golden State, from the Gold rush, which isn't true. The Golden State refers to the color of the hills, which just kills the environmentalist, who like to put green belts into developments. The only thing with a natural green in California is the Redwoods.

I read that article yesterday. The GOP has nobody but themselves to blaim. The party nominated a crook to run for Governor. Davis is just as bad as Simon and the Democrats are to blaim for this. Those two parties are identical in practice. Their chief aim is to divide the American people, so nobody will notice the agenda they are pushing through Congress. Both parties are against soverignity of individual nations. They are both for the one world order or one world government with no rights given to individuals.

I am still looking at all of the candidates on the ballot to see who to vote for. A poll that was in the Sacramento media outlets a few days ago showed that 55% of all Californian's didn't want either Davis or Simon and were more likely to vote for the lesser of two evils. I will not be voting for either one of those two major candidates. If the GOP wants my vote back they are going to have to nominate honest men or women.
