"The three mosques as considered pseudo-religious associations," said French Interior Minister Bernard Cazaneuve.

The GOP-led House has attached the almost-dead Export-Import to the must-pass, six-year extension of the pork-packed Highway Bill, likely resurrecting the bank from extinction. What does a taxpayer-guaranteed lending agency have to do with the nation’s roads and bridges? Nothing, except that many mega-corporations and donors on K Street want the Export-Import Bank revived. Burying the bank in the $300 billion road bill will ensure the Senate and House can revive the bank with the least amount of public scrutiny or political blame. New Republican Leadership? Same as the Old Republican Leadership, apparently.

A newly leaked internal DHS memorandum produced for an off-the-record agency conclave reveals that the Obama administration is actively planning to circumvent a federal court injunction that suspended part of last November’s deferral-based amnesty initiative. The document, apparently prepared as follow-up from a DHS “Regulations Retreat†last summer, appears sure to re-ignite concerns in Congress as well as federal judges in the Fifth Circuit. The Administration has already been criticized from the bench for handing out work permits to hundreds of thousands of deferred action beneficiaries, in direct violation of a district court’s order. With the Fifth Circuit Court of...

At the Republican debate hosted by CNBC in Boulder, Colorado Wednesday night, presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz lambasted the moderators, particularly John Harwood of TheNew York Times, and the media for their treatment and characterization of himself and his competitors. "The questions asked in this debate illustrate why the American people don't trust the media," Cruz at Wednesday's Republican debate. "Everyone home tonight knows that the moderators have no intention of voting in a Republican primary."

Republican North Carolina Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC) is urging all candidates for Speaker of the House to drop out of the race if skeletons in their closet might embarrass the Republican Party. Jones sent a letter Wednesday to Republican Conference chairman Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) issuing a challenge to House Speaker candidates Reps. Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), and Rep. Daniel Webster (R-FL). “Some of the most difficult times have been when our Republican leaders or potential Republican leaders must step down because of skeletons in their closets,” Jones wrote. “We’ve seen it with former Speaker...

The plan calls for eliminating federal income taxes on individuals earning less than $25,000 and married couples earning less than $50,000. If you fall under the no tax bracket you'll get to send a one-page letter to the IRS that says "I Win," Trump said. But the plan would also benefit businesses and the rich.

At the White House, a stunned President Obama expressed hope for bipartisan progress as turmoil among Republicans ended Representative John A. Boehner’s speakership. On Capitol Hill, the conservatives who had again felled one of their leaders rallied to name the terms for the next person to wield the speaker’s gavel. And on Wall Street, fear set in at the prospect of another showdown over the government’s ability to pay its debt, support its export businesses and simply keep its doors open.

GOP presidential candidate former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is responding to GOP frontrunner Donald Trump’s video posted Monday on Instagram mocking Bush’s characterization of illegal immigration as an “act of love.” Bush posted on Twitter: Who's the real @realDonaldTrump? He donated to sanctuary city supporting @NancyPelosi and called her “The Greatest.”

Cementing a victory for President Barack Obama on his trade agenda, the House of Representatives passed legislation Thursday providing financial aid and training for those workers displaced by global trade. The trade adjustment assistance [TAA] bill was approved easily 286-138, with the bulk of votes coming from House Democrats. But less than two weeks ago many of those same Democrats blocked legislation to give the President fast track authority to negotiate trade deals and raised doubts about whether it could be resuscitated. That episode highlighted the party's deep divisions on the issue of trade and delivered an embarrassing, although...

www.alexansary.tv - Earlier this week, Joe Biden openly touched the wives and female children of the male senators in some fairly sexual and questionable ways. In fact, it seems as if the parents are offering their children to Joe Biden is a kind of sacrifice of their born (in this case, allowing Joe Biden to get his feel on). In today's society where most men are unfairly labeled predators, it's amazing to see those in power get a free pass to touch whoever they like, whenever they like. Most revealing is how this is being shown to you on purpose...

The 2015 New England Patriots ran 187 plays per lost fumble. Which, statistically speaking, is insane. This season's Patriots are such a black swan that, as data scientist John Candido explained to Sharp, Based on the assumption that fumbles per play follow a normal distribution, you'd expect to see, according to random fluctuation, the results that the Patriots have gotten over this period, once in 16,233.77 instances. Which in layman's terms means that this result only being a coincidence, is like winning a raffle where you have a 0.0000616 probability to win. Which in other words, [makes it] very unlikely...

A woman in tears approached French police outside the kosher supermarket where hostages were held captive by a gunman in northeast Paris, saying her 37-year-old daughter just managed to call from the supermarket and told her five people have already been killed, the BBC reported. The daughter said many hostages were in the basement of the supermarket. The conversation was interrupted by other hostages making the woman stop talking for her own safety. There is no official confirmation of these claims.

One of the posts included his blood spattered pants.

If Costa and Bera hold on, Democrats will continue their post-election hot streak — they've won all 11 races that were too close to call on election night, keeping a bad election cycle from turning into a GOP blowout.

Republican Johnny Tacherra is in Washington, D.C. at the orientation for new members of Congress, but he’s no longer in the lead for the 16th Congressional District seat. Fresno County updated its vote count Wednesday afternoon, and incumbent Fresno Democrat Jim Costa — behind in his reelection bid since election night more than a week ago — took a slim, 86-vote lead over Tacherra.

With just 200 votes countywide left to count, Republican Martha McSally is the apparent winner of the Congressional District 2 seat. McSally holds a 133-vote lead over incumbent Democrat Ron Barber. But with such a narrow margin, a final, official declaration of a winner will have to wait for an automatic recount, required by state law because the gap between the two is less than 200 votes. Pima County this afternoon finished counting more than 4,700 provisional ballots, which showed McSally maintaining a small lead.

Krauthammer: [Obama] played as the puzzled observer. He was asked about the meaning of the election, and he said “I’ll leave to others the reading of tea leaves.” Was this really a subtle result? Was this sort of complicated and nuanced? This was the worst wall-to-wall, national, unmistakable, unequivocal shellacking that you will ever see in a midterm election, and it happened on just about every level. You’ve got in the House the Republicans now have the largest majority since 1929.
