I've been a conservative for as long as I have been able to vote. But the last few years (about 20) have really been a disappointment to me as far as the republican party is concerned. We had both houses AND the Presidency and we pissed it all away by trying to appease the other side and trying to be "friends" with them. Well folks it just doesn't work that way.
