I wish these people were doing this honestly but I know they are not. Frankly, they will look until they can find a few Republicans to add to the corruption so they can then use the ‘everybody does it’ excuse.

Sadly, they are not rooting out corruption, they are playing politics again.

(Not that I give Republicans a pass, either. I support outing every corrupt politician in both parties. Republicans tend to get rid of theirs and Democrats reelect theirs.)

Congress is a criminal enterprise. We REALLY need a NY 23rd uprising...dump all of these bstrds that don't truly identify with their base and/or have held office in the Senate for a max of two terms...by then, the Dems are outright felons and the Republicans are indistinguishable from Dems...

It’s about time. Now when will they start on the senate, federally appointed judges and Obama’s czars?

Don’t put it past the Dems to call off the ethics investigations. They’ll say that the leaked memo “taints” the whole process. Everybody gets off the hook.

I woudn’t be surprised if the so-called “leak” was planned by the Dems themselves.

Yeah, and if anyone thinks this is to stop crime, I’ve got a bridge...

This is for blackmail, political leverage pure and simple.

Murtha is part of this scum scandal too.

Remember that he was close to getting nabbed in the Abscam scandal in 1980.

He's on tape "negotiating" during that scandal. Maybe there's more to this one and he'll be busted this time along with alot of others.

Time to make scandal and party ID (Dems) happen again.

according to a leaked account

Pelosi needs more votes for health care. That she would stoop to blackmail is a good sign, I suppose. Even though it's not much of a stoop for her.
