I gotta be honest, based on your post I am not all that confident that Papadopoulos is a straight shooter. It’s full of “I knew people were watching me 24x7 then a weirdo came up and asked me to meet somebody I didn’t know in a hotel room across town. I don’t know why or what he wanted and I got the sense he was trying to set me up but I went to the meeting. Then when I got there there were people I didn’t know but they wanted me to do X so I did it just to get out of there. Then they asked me back the next day so I went .. “ and all I can think is “is this guy serious?”
