Tonight (September 13, 2002) at approximately 6:00 p.m. the home of Patricia O'Dell's ailing mother was surrounded by state police, SRS agents and local police the same way the Gonzales house was surrounded in Florida a few years ago. In a letter postmarked the same day the Vermont Supreme Court made its ruling exonerating jailed homeschool mom Karen Maple of truancy and educational neglect, SRS (Social Rehabilitative Services)notified Ms. Maple demanding she pay 'them' child support for the amount of time they had her son in custody!!!
