Apparently, he passed all the investigative steps. Which should scare you a bit. Maybe when he completed his background investigation paperwork, he did not supply any of his fictional stuff.

It is not hard to pretend to be somebody else in the guard. I mean, you only have to deal with them for 2 days a month (well, that was then).

It is just a sad turn of events.

Well, DeBatto was actually there, as a 97B CI Agent. But yes. He is no true agent. I mean, spewing all that nonsense all over the news. You should read some of the junk he professess. The one I like the most is how a Sheik, is going to name his child after him. I hope they have an arabic version of David. LOL.

Funny you ask how long they were there.

They both left early. Go figure. One because he was crazy. The other one because of a car accident.

My side of the story is almost irrelevant. All the statements have been made, and the investigation is underway. The big problem for me is that two of the accused are either friends of mine, or subordinates. It is very demoralizing to see this crap come up again. We left Iraq, thinking that all that was past, and this morons are just making waves in their baby pools. It is offensive. You should see how the left lionizes this Greg Ford.
