Yes, but apparently none of the Irish relatives on his mother’s side of the family voted for him - at least none that AP was able to find and interview. Not surprising, since he only seems to acknowledge his father’s side of the family - even though his mother’s parents fed, clothed, housed and educated him. I guess no one likes an ingrate.
Well, if you read that review of Jenny Sanford’s book in the WaPo, he’s right up there too. Wonder why a woman who came from a wealthy family, made money of her own as an investment banker, was refined and elegant-looking, etc. would marry a creep like Sanford. Anyway, the FOX article dealt with only presidential candidates and presidents whose affairs had something in common with Edwards’ otherwise there would be so many cheaters to mention (like JFK and LBJ) that you could write a book, not an article.
