Instead of worrying about relativity difficult to get monkey pox we should be worried about the illegal immigrants carrying highly infectious TB.

Watching the recent Presidential election in France shows how voting ought to be done here. Even President Macron had to produce a photo ID to receive a paper ballot. Paper ballots were sealed in envelopes by the voter and deposited personally by the voter into a transparent ballot box. Absentee voting is rare in France and there are very few voting machines. Mail in ballots are unheard of in France. Votes were carefully hand counted by volunteers representing all political parties. Recounts are also rare in France.

America is increasingly resembling the former East Germany, a drab colorless peoples republic where secret police snitches reported on everyone and bumbling party apparatchiks ran a crumbling economy.

We are seeing a new Inquisition hell bent on rooting out the new heresies of political incorrectness. I’m reminded of Galileo whose works were suppressed and he was held in house arrest because he challenged the cosmic orthodoxy.

There are more than a few in the Biden Administration and even in the US media who are calling for jailing people for spreading “disinformation” no different than communist Cuba.

The greenies who think EVs are the future will have a rude awakening when there is no organic tofu on the shelves of the Whole Foods. American agriculture runs on diesel fuel and there are not even prototypes of practical electric tractors, combines and heavy haul trucks that are essential to planting, harvesting and transporting grain to markets. Killing off diesel fuel is a sure means of producing widespread famine.

We are seeing the results of three major mistakes. First, in pursuit of ever cheaper labor we outsourced the manufacture of everything from electronics to pharmaceuticals to China, a communist police state bent on world domination. Second, we gave up our energy independence to again seek imported oil from OPEC transported by vulnerable shipping. Third, we are willingly crippling our economy in the name of phony climate change hysteria that we now are finding has been funded in part by Russia.

Trump succeeded in restoring our energy independence, sadly to have it thrown away by Biden. However, given the will energy independence could be restored. We are starting to realize we cannot depend on China for any strategic manufactured goods and we should push for making more of these products here or at least in more reliable countries. Lastly, the Green New Deal is already being shown to be a pie in the sky fantasy. The folly of green energy will be painfully learned when we soon see major blackouts as a result of reliance on undependable windmills and solar farms.

Forty years ago today, U.S. mortgage rates hit 18.5%.

My wife and I bought our first home in the fall of 1979 with a 11.25% 30 year mortgage and considered ourselves very lucky we got in just before the 18% rates.

To think that barely two years ago store shelves were well stocked with baby formula, we were a net energy exporter for the first time in decades and gasoline was $2 a gallon. Now we are begging Switzerland for baby formula pleading with Arab potentates and rogue states like Venezuela and Iran for their oil and gasoline has more than doubled in price. Way to go Brandon.

The woman is a total flake, but it is scary to think that she might be the norm in the Biden Administration. Look at Biden’s nominees for other high up positions, avowed Communists, ecoterrotists, and a parade of dingbats. However what else could we expect from a senile old man fraudulently elected as POTUS with a VP who redefines the definition of dingbat.

It is virtually certain that the GOP will sweep the Congressional elections this fall and like have the majority in both houses. However, what then? The feckless GOP Congressional leadership I believe is nearly clueless how to stop the current march to Communism. The ultra RINOs like Romney, Mikulski and Collins especially cannot be reliable actors in a purge of socialism. The other question is who will be the GOP nominee for President. While Trump is the assumed likely choice, he brings a lot of baggage. Trump will like no other galvanize the opposition and stoke the media firestorm. The GOP needs another Reagan to pull the country out of this mess.

However, China has one big advantage...President Biden. From the disaster in the Afghanistan withdrawal it is obvious that Biden will not act decisively and will go into hiding until the ruling cabal loads his teleprompter. China will have free hand to invade and fear few consequences from the US as longer as Dementia Joe is Commander in Chief.

  • Democrats Truly Are Evil

Todays Democratic Party is certainly not the party of JFK or even that of FDR. What passes for the Democratic Party these days is a radical Marxist cabal bent on creating a single party authoritarian if not fascist state. It is an amalgam of radical Greens, Communists, socialists and liberal elites who want to end capitalism, private ownership and personal liberty. Even the left leaning Elon Musk finds todays Democrats intolerable. The leadership of the Democratic Party, the likes of Pelosi and Schumer, are in it for power and naively believe that the more radical elements can be tamed to their own ends.

What I find surprising is that the radicals leading the Democratic Party believe they can simply lie as needed with the help of a sycophantic media and fool the American people into accepting their rule. They did succeed to a degree with the COVID panic and we saw civil liberties trampled by petty tyrant Democrat Governors. However it took an unprecedented election fraud to put their puppet, Senile Joe, into the White House. Democrats are now in a panic as any semblance of free elections this fall will banish them from leading the country. They have few options to hold power. Another COVID panic or even a large scale election steal won’t work. They also have the problem of a well armed population. Whether, Communist Cuba, Sandinista El Salvador or socialist Venezuala, disarming the population was always a first step in taking over. While the US military is being purged of anyone seen as remotely right of center, it is doubtful that US troops could be successfully compelled to fire on their countrymen.

Where does the Democratic Party go after the likely election shellacking this fall? The radicals would have revolution or putsch or at the least riots in the streets. Perhaps someone like Tulsi Gabbard might bring the party back closer to the center or a new less radical party might emerge. Aside from a Bolshevik style revolution I think the radical Democrats are soon to be gone as a major political force.

It’s bad enough for the Biden Administration to have created this Disinformation Board which almost certainly would eventually have been ruled a violation of the First Amendment, however, to put an absolute flake as the very visible head of this board shows how out of touch they are. Nina Jankowicz is the poster child for liberal elitism. One can almost palpitate her distain for the deplorables who keep her drains open, fix her electric car, stock the organic produce at her Whole Foods and deliver White Claw to her favorite watering hole. She sees herself as the paragon of sophistication, a liberal elite with a world class education, yet who engages in sophomoric performances and online videos and probably has a “pussy hat” in her closet. I doubt the woman has ever left her liberal enclaves to bump shoulders with those of us in flyover country let alone has a clue about where or how the soybeans for her tofu are grown. Trump was right these liberal elites are idiots in disguise.

Biden isn’t in charge of anything. His energy policy is the product of radical environmentalists in the cabal that controls puppet Biden. They want to end fossil fuels by deliberately pushing policies to drive up prices to unsustainable levels and force the switch to electric vehicles and total green energy. These radicals have no concern about the economic consequences of these policies nor the effect on people’s lives.
