  • Floyd incident recorded sometime before China plague?

Observation: No one is wearing a mask in the Floyd videos. Not the police, not Floyd or the passengers, none of the bystanders, none of the shop owners. Did they not have a mask mandate in Minneapolis at the time, May 25th? Everyone is wearing a mask during the pressers on the event. Imo, this incident was recorded and held for the right time, released and hyped to instigate the events that followed.
  • Vanity - the state of Oregon denied me the ability to vote

I received a nonpartisan ballot. The ballot only included judges. I was not given the option to vote for anything else and today is the deadline to vote in Oregon's presidential primary. Apparently this involves some deal with DMV voter registration, where Republicans were auto switched to nonpartisan, and sent ballots with only judges and certain measures to vote for. Are there any remedies for people in Oregon like myself who were denied the ability to vote as a result of this? Thank you.

According to congress.gov, H.R.748 Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act or the CARES Act, was introduced in January of 2019 by Rep. Joe Courtney (D). If this COVID-19 is an unexpected outbreak, how is it that this bill was introduced nearly a year and a half ago? https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/748?q=%7B%22search%22%3A%5B%22Hr748%22%5D%7D&s=1&r=1

Is there a possibility that Congress could archive the House's torn copy of the SoU speech as the House's official copy? I think it should preserved as is as an historical reminder of the present day House chamber's actions and temperament.

In the 1980s, First Lady Nancy Reagan famously urged kids to “just say no” to drugs. Although I’m no fan of the War on Drugs, she was certainly correct to point out that saying “no” is a good way of avoiding the dangers of drug use. Co-blogger Eugene Volokh makes a similar argument with respect to violence intended to pressure Western nations into suppressing “blasphemous” speech. Giving in to the terrorists incentivizes further terrorism, while refusing to do so reduces the risk of future violence. This principle applies to terrorism more broadly: An excellent way to reduce the risk of...

In recent days, I’ve heard various people calling for punishing the maker of Innocence of Muslims, and more broadly for suppressing such speech. During the Terry Jones planned Koran-burning controversy, I heard similar calls. Such expression leads to the deaths of people, including Americans. It worsens our relations with important foreign countries. It’s intended to stir up trouble. And it’s hardly high art, or thoughtful political arguments. It’s not like it’s Satanic Verses, or even South Park or Life of Brian. Why not shut it down, and punish those who engage in it (of course, while keeping Satanic Verses and...

Carly Fiorina channels Dede Scozzafava, wields race/gender card against conservative rival By Michelle Malkin  •  November 23, 2009 11:03 AM Grass-roots conservatives, your attention, please: The NRCC and GOP dumped $1 million of your hard-earned money into radical Leftist Republican Dede Scozzafava’s NY-23’s campaign — money that was squandered trashing mainstream conservative candidate Doug Hoffman, who lost the race by less than 3,400 votes. Now, the GOP elite Senate candidate in California, Carly Fiorina, is running against Democrat Barbara Boxer by…trashing mainstream conservative GOP rival Chuck DeVore.Fiorina’s strongest argument against DeVore? How do you say “You lie!” in Mandarin? By Michelle Malkin  •  November 18, 2009 09:20 AM Obama’s double-talk on political dissent by Michelle MalkinCreators Syndicate Copyright 2009President Obama traveled all the way to China to praise the free flow of information. It’s the only safe place he could do so without getting heckled. With a straight face, Obama lauded political dissent and told Chinese students that he welcomed unfettered criticism in America. Fierce opposition, he said, made him “a better leader because it forces me to hear opinions that I don’t want to hear.” How do you say “You lie!” in...

Stanford U. doesn’t want you to see this video By Michelle Malkin  •  October 7, 2009 10:33 AM Via Marc Morano at Climate Depot comes word that Stanford University is trying to cover for one of its leading eco-extremists: Stanford University has banned a skeptical documentary film from airing a climate change interview with one of its prominent warming activist professors, Stephen Schneider. After legal threats from Stanford University — apparently on behalf of Prof. Schneider — the documentary filmmakers were forced to use a blank screen and an actor had to read the transcript of Schneider’s already taped but legally banned...

The jihadi threat to rail security By Michelle Malkin  •  September 22, 2009 10:15 AM The arrest of terror suspect Najibullah Zazi has re-focused Obama’s homeland security officials on the ongoing jihadi threat to rail security. Mass transit systems across the country are on renewed alert: A 24-year-old Afghan man at the center of an unfolding FBI investigation into a possible U.S. terrorism cell was ordered held without bond in Colorado Monday as authorities raced to learn more about an alleged plot using hydrogen peroxide explosives and who else might have been helping to carry it out.Meanwhile, authorities in Washington and elsewhere...

Olympics Crony Watch: Let the games begin By Michelle Malkin  •  September 22, 2009 11:00 AM Last week, I spotlighted Valerie Jarrett and Michelle Obama’s collaborative efforts to push their mentor, friend, and former employer Chicago mayor Richard Daley’s bid to bring the Olympics to Chicago in 2016. From now until Oct. 2, when the International Olympic Committee votes on the decision in Copenhagen, I’ll keep tabs on all the Chicago scheming with an Olympics Crony Watch. The latest news on the p.r. front? A protectionist move that is bad politics, bad economics, bad diplomacy and hurts America. Did we miss anything? Correction to this article YOU can be fairly sure that when a government slips an announcement out at nine o’clock on a Friday night, it is not proud of what it is doing. That is one of the only things that makes sense about Barack Obama’s decision to break a commitment he, along with other G20 leaders, reaffirmed last April: to avoid protectionist measures at a time of great economic peril. In every other way the president’s decision to slap a 35%...

DURING last year's presidential campaign, when it seemed likely that Barack Obama would win, conservatives would joke, "One thing's sure: After January 20, dissent will no longer be the highest form of patriotism." We had heard that a lot during the George W. Bush years: "Dissent is the highest form of patriotism." Many on the left thought they were quoting Thomas Jefferson; actually, the words apparently come from Howard Zinn, the contemporary leftist historian. And it's a dumb thing to say: Certainly, dissent can be a form of patriotism. But the highest? Where does that put what Sergeant York and...
