Jesus said "What God has joined together, let no man put asunder". There was a time when people simply accepted this teaching by faith. Somehow we came to believe that we knew better. Now we live with the consequences so well explained in this article.
"If blacks (whites, or anybody else) were filling those jobs"
You've got it backwards. Cheap illegal labor drives wages down. Controlling the border would automatically reduce the labor pool and drive up wages. Americans would gladly take those jobs at decent wages. Market forces are driving this issue. We need to make those forces work for us, instead of against us.
There's one thing I don't understand about this article. The author says this case has an "unlikely cast of characters". Thieves, extortionists and Democrat politicians? Sounds like the usual susupects to me.
You're right! That was the 2nd Jackie Robinson Day, not the first. It's unbelievable that this story came from MLB. There are probably more mistakes in there, but I don't think I'll bother looking for them.
You're the only one making sense on this thread. There are 2 women in my family who have made false accusations of rape. One of them has done it 3 times! I'm glad none of the rest of us took the law into his own hands.
