Nassau County police and the FBI are investigating allegations that a radical animal rights organization that is on the FBI watchlist is waging a campaign of intimidation against a pharmaceutical company executive and his family on Long Island. The Animal Liberation Front last week posted on its Web site a communique claiming some of its members followed the executive's wife to her job, entered her car, stole a credit card and funneled $20,000 of the family's funds to charities. In April of 2005 the American Teilhard Association, in collaboration with the French and British Teilhard Associations and other partnering institutions, begins a yearlong commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the death of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin (1881-1955) in New York City.
