Farmers have gathered in Rimouski, Quebec to voice their concerns in the days leading up to the province’s next budget announcement. Several hundred farmers from Bas-Saint-Laurent and Gaspésie region travelled to Rimouski to participate in the demonstration by the Federation of the Union of Agricultural Producers (UPA) of Bas-Saint-Laurent. Almost half of Buick dealers across the United States have opted to take buyouts from General Motors (GM) to avoid having to sell Electric Vehicles (EVs) at a time when consumer reports show Americans are increasingly turned off by the cars. According to GM, almost 1,000 of its nearly 2,000 Buick dealerships across the U.S. chose to take buyouts from the parent company rather than investing potentially millions into retooling and prepping dealers to service and sell EVs.

Electric vehicles are failing to live up to their promise, with a new report from Consumer Reports showing that they have an incredible 79 percent more problems than their conventional counterparts, in addition to being less reliable. Plug-in hybrids fared even worse, registering 146 percent more problems than vehicles with traditional internal combustion engines.

Following several new documents containing details of the Tesla Cybertruck posted to the EPA’s website, we have been able to better understand the efficiencies the truck will achieve.
