The rapid unplanned release of fresh water from the lakes, over a very short period of time, has carried massive amounts of polluted sediments into the main-stem of the Klamath River, and a plume has spread out into the ocean.

This is what democRATS want for the rest of the nation. Whether the name is Newsom, Hussein, Biden, Pelousy, Clinton, they all want the same thing. Untold riches for them, scraps of dead fish and bugs for the masses.

Awful results, just like one of those Soviet hero projects. No careful analysis needed beforehand.

What was that story a few years ago about a barrier being removed from a mine and the water flooding out? I wonder about the eventual outcome of that event.

What a bunch of commie retards. Trying to say that about 100 years later, it’s harming fish and “native” people that live there. It’s pathetic how completely stupid people are.

Gold King Mine Disaster

And of course the Government finds that the Government is not at fault.

Depressing and anger inducing.

This should be remembered the next time Leftists recommend something like introducing the Asian Freshwater Shrub because some “study” showed that it inhibits some undesirable fish species or insect species.

Then, if we can make people remember this and remind them that their effort in the Klamath Dam fiasco, ostensibly done to help the “Native American Tribes” who “depend” on this valuable natural resource, actually destroyed it, perhaps someone will think twice.

Nahhh. Pure fantasy. Never happen.

Klamath has been a liberal caused disaster since 2000. It once was a peaceful environmentally-friendly farm district owned mainly by WWII vets.

Then came the libs - drought, wildlife die offs, ponds turned into mud holes, rivers reduced to trickles, big profits for NGOs forcing farmers off their land, etc.

Now just to make it worse, the predicted disaster of dam removal is made real. This is a lesson in how to make beautiful countryside into a war zone, much as the libs have made once beautiful cities into hell holes.

Well,
the nature always eventually clears itself up.
Bunch of years ago, in Romania, they spilled some potassium Cyanite from Gold mine to a creek. It totally clean a Tisza river (substantial River in Hungary, Serbia, Rumania Ukraine and Slovakia) of any life whatsoever.
It seems it is all now recovered.
Cuyahoga river in Cleveland was so polluted, it caught a fire.

Nature is a lot more resistant that the Greens have you believe!

One subduction event along the fault lines on the West Coast would do far more than just a little silt from one Dam project. Mudslides aren’t helping either, and from what I can tell this has been happening for millenia.

What is the current status? Have all the dams been completely removed?

Trout Unlimited is big behind dam removal and “global warming”. I quit them years ago because of that rubbish.

The Nature Conservancy, American Rivers, Sierra Club, Audubon Society, The Ford Foundation, The Pew Foundation, etc all all far bigger players

Here I am speaking to Oregon House about closing down the State forests for the next 70 years. It is all about destroying the lumber industry:
