It’s called the “gender gap” (should be “sex gap,” really) in voting, and, boy, did it ever manifest itself Tuesday night. In fact, November 4 was a great day for the GOP. That is, in an alternate universe in which only men vote. Let’s go down the list. In Virginia there were three major races, and men broke Republican in all of them. They went for Winsome Earle-Sears for governor (all figures represent percentages), 53-47; John Reid for lieutenant governor, 55-44; and Jason Miyares for attorney general, 57-42. Meanwhile, in the upside-down, women broke Democrat in all three races by...

In the debate over the federal government shutdown, U.S. Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has been the only Democrat to be critical of his party’s role in creating the debacle. In an interview on Sunday’s CNN show State of The Union with Jake Tapper, Fetterman said, “I feel like the Democrats really need to own the shutdown. I mean, we’re shutting it down.” In addition, Fetterman noted that the problem of “42 million Americans” facing “food insecurity” would be solved if Democrats “just reopen our government.” Fetterman continued to blast his party’s neglect of Americans in need. He claimed, “now we...

Is “Christian Zionism” an oxymoron? Worse still, is it a heresy? And whether it is an oxymoron or a heresy, is it a recent creation, dating back no earlier than the 19th century? Before we answer these questions, let’s first define our terms. If Zionism is the belief that Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people, then Christian Zionism is the belief that the Bible affirms that Israel is the homeland of the Jewish people. It’s that simple. We can now answer the first question: Is “Christian Zionism” an oxymoron? Not at all, since it can easily be demonstrated...

Question: How do you convince a well-educated and sophisticated New Yorker to vote for you? Answer: Give them a free bus ride. This is politics in the Big Apple for 2025. This is the campaign of Zohran Mamdani. For those who have a reasonable amount of spiritual discernment, all that is needed is this: “For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.” [2 John 1:7] For those who don’t mind a bunco battering there is the lazy man’s method of getting scammed....

Former Vice President Kamala Harris is the GOP gift that keeps on giving. In an interview on the BBC show Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, Harris said, “I am not done. I have lived my entire career as a life of service, and it’s in my bones.” Republicans can only hope that Harris is the Democratic Party presidential nominee again. In the 2024 race, Harris was a disastrous candidate. After performing reasonably well at the Democratic National Convention and in her only televised debate with President Donald Trump, Harris decided not to engage with the media. She was rarely interviewed and...

The Bible is selling out, Christian music is breaking charts, and millions are rediscovering what truly matters They told us faith was fading in America. That the old stories, the old institutions, the old Book — it was done. That people no longer needed the scriptures, the songs, the Sunday-morning rituals. But if you peer beneath the surface, if you look at the numbers creeping up behind the headlines, you’ll see something quite different: a quietly rising tide of spiritual engagement. The Bible: not just still alive — booming Here’s one part of the story: in the United States, sales...

As everyone knows, many took to the streets in various American cities this last Saturday to protest President Trump and his policies. The theme was “No Kings,” as if Donald J. Trump were the king of America. Far from it. As Speaker of the House Mike Johnson noted, “If President Trump was a king, the government would be OPEN right now. If President Trump was a king, they would not have been able to engage in that free speech exercise.” Gary Bauer said that the funding for all these protests came from the usual suspects: “Multiple far-left organizations funded by...

When Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, announced that ChatGPT would begin allowing “erotica for verified adults” starting December 2025, the world crossed a moral line that should never have been approached. His defense — “We are not the elected moral police of the world” — was meant to sound neutral and enlightened. But in reality, it was the digital equivalent of Pontius Pilate washing his hands. This plan is being sold as a matter of “adult freedom,” but make no mistake: this is about normalizing sin, monetizing lust, and expanding the reach of evil under the guise of technology. What...

Sadly, President Donald Trump faces innumerable threats from both foreign adversaries and domestic radicals prone to violence. These are people suffering from severe “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” Last year, the President survived two assassination attempts. On July 13, 2024, Thomas Matthew Crooks somehow evaded all security personnel at the President’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. He used a drone to scout the location and climbed onto the roof of the building nearest to the rally site. Incredibly, the Secret Service did not utilize drones and claimed the roof was too steep to position their agents prior to the event. Before a Secret...

Shame is rapidly becoming a thing of the past in America. But even though the conscience of a nation dies, sometimes things get so bad that shame creeps up again and makes you wish you were a citizen of a different country. Such an example is found on X about a school board in a California school district. Although it’s not much fun or very entertaining to watch, this is the video in which the school board is being questioned by what seems to be a parent. This writer thought at one time that I had seen it all. I...

Without question, most of them face a long road to recovery before life can be fully normal again. And sometimes internal wounds heal much more slowly than external wounds. Yet even now, their stories are inspiring courage and strength among others, as their very release has invigorated a nation that has lived in collective trauma since October 7, 2023. Eli Sharabi endured 491 days in captivity before his release, determined to survive his ordeal for his wife and two teenage daughters, from whom he was separated on October 7 when Hamas took over Kibbutz Be’eri. He assured them he would...

Europe Ignored the Warning. Tuberville Says America Won’t Get a Second Chance. When a U.S. senator stands up and says there’s only one law in America — the Constitution — the political class panics. And that’s exactly what happened this week when Sen. Tommy Tuberville took the Senate floor and called for a nationwide ban on Sharia law. Predictably, the media rolled its eyes. The Left smirked. The same people who think biological men can win women’s swim meets now tell us Islamic law poses no threat to the Republic. But millions of Americans — people with common sense and...

If politics is downstream from culture, and it is, we have a lot to worry about. This is frankly because American culture has long been rotting like a 10-day-old avocado in the sun. A good example, appearing in my X notifications yesterday, is a video of a white girl sporting corn-woven hair and speaking “Ebonics”-style while giving a cop a hard time. “Why is she talking like that?” asks the original poster of the 54-second clip (below). X users reacting to the video were unsparing, with no small number attributing her behavior to low IQ. And one seemingly incredulous respondent...

Something historic has just happened. After years of war, Israel and Hamas have agreed to move forward with a U.S.-brokered peace plan designed by President Donald Trump. The deal, which includes the release of hostages, phased ceasefires, and a new governing structure for Gaza, has been accepted by all parties and backed by an international coalition. A “Board of Peace” — reportedly with potential oversight from both the United States and European figures like Tony Blair — will supervise the agreement’s implementation. Multiple nations will act as guarantors. The fighting will stop. Gaza will begin rebuilding. For much of the...

The Nobel Committee has ignited a debate: Who gets to define “peace”? The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize has gone to María Corina Machado, one of the most prominent faces of Venezuelan opposition. The committee’s language is familiar – “rights,” “peaceful transition” – but the story behind it is not. Machado’s record combines volunteer election networks with long-running feuds over foreign funding which antedate Maduro; her name has appeared in cases allegedly tied to efforts to unseat the government – charges she rejects. The award lifts an internal struggle onto a global stage and drops it into a fresh context: for...

In America today, our two major political parties are moving in opposite directions. For Republicans, it might be the “best of times.” Under the leadership of President Donald Trump, the GOP is feeling confident. Republicans have a strong chance to retain control of the Congress in 2026 midterm elections despite the party out of power traditionally gaining many new seats. This political environment is different. President Trump has had an incredibly successful first nine months of his second term and this will help Republicans in the midterm elections. After four years of no border security under the previous administration, it...

Democrat Muslims-Socialists-Marxists-Communists can’t win a debate or answer specific questions when confronted with facts that challenge their anti-American, anti-Constitutional Republic, or Electoral College. In order to keep the public ignorant of their tyrannical agenda of serfdom, they are forced to sidestep and avert direct answers by using the “Alinsky Rules for Radicals” playbook of deception with the diversion tactics of evade, avoid and deflect. They start with evading a specific debate response, as they cannot afford to provide a cohesive pertinent relevant answer, so they obfuscate with off topic comments, a ploy to distract from revealing their totalitarian agenda to...

As the nation of Israel eagerly awaits the return of the remaining hostages, some of them alive (perhaps barely so), the rest of them dead, there will be much celebration and joy. At last, after more than two hellish years, they will be home. But there is also much pain, and not just the pain of the moment. It is the cumulative pain of generations. Some will immediately say, “But what about the people of Gaza? What about their pain? What about their suffering and agony?” After all, we see the images of the bombed cities, of the terrified children,...

What I Saw at the Dr. James Dobson Memorial Service My wife and I had the privilege of attending the memorial service for Dr. James Clayton Dobson, Jr., in the greater Denver area this past Saturday. (He had died August 21.) The audience got to hear just a taste of Dobson’s incredible impact and of his humble, thoughtful, and Christian character. Dobson was a best-selling author with multiple titles of books to help bolster the family. He earned his doctorate in child psychology at UCLA. In his work, he discovered the power of radio and utilized this incredible tool to...
