I took the Metro Blue Line into Downtown LA yesterday and was greeted by at least 100 LEOs and cast iron riot barriers at the corner of 7th and Figueroa Streets. Lots of black SUVs and police escorts accompanying the "dipsh!ts" er, I mean diplomats, guilt dignitaries and other assorted jackwagons. I asked a security guard outside the fencing what was going on and was told it was the "Summit of the Americas" (aka: the Western Hemisphere's version of the Bildeberg gathering.) I did some video recording on my phone and would like to post it here in the blog/chat...

The world is a depressing place today. So much so that I have become so wrapped up in the idiocy, idolatry and corruption we are cursed with that I tend to forget how blessed I am to live in the USA despite the evil that surrounds me. I went for a walk early this morning near the Port of LA with at least 50 container ships anchored off the coast and felt depressed and hopeless seeing that, but then watched the sunrise. The Biden administration is not mandating COVID-19 vaccines for White House staff, press secretary Jen Psaki said Friday. During the White House press briefing Thursday, Psaki suggested that every White House official had been offered a COVID-19 vaccine, but clarified Friday that the White House was not requiring officials to be vaccinated.

After video emerged of Parisians having to show their vaccine passport papers to police in order to sit outside a cafe, President Macron asserted that the system protected people’s “freedom.” Yes, really. As we highlighted yesterday, footage showed uniformed French police patrolling cafes and restaurants demanding proof of vaccination. Those unable or unwilling to show their papers face massive fines, while business owners could even go to prison if they refuse to enforce the system. Thousands of scientists have repeated calls for urgent action to tackle the climate emergency, warning that several tipping points are now imminent.
