Wanted to let you know that the new Homeland Security Bill has passed. Things will be different now and Internet surfing will be tracked by what the FBI calls a "non-intrusive method." The FBI says you will not notice anything different.

Thanks for the pointer to snopes.com. It has cleared up much information in the past for me, but sometimes I don't make the association to check there.

North Dakota News vs New Orleans ......

This text is from a county emergency manager out in the Western part of North Dakota state after the recent snow storm.

    WEATHER BULLETIN

Up here in the Northern Plains we just recovered from a Historic event --- may I even say a "Weather Event" of "Biblical Proportions" --- with a historic blizzard of up to 44" inches of snow and winds to 90 MPH that broke trees in half, knocked down utility poles, stranded hundreds of motorists in lethal snow banks, closed ALL roads, isolated scores of communities and cut power to 10s of thousands.

    George Bush did not come....

    FEMA did nothing....
No one howled for the government...

    No one blamed the government

No one even uttered an expletive on TV..

Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton did not visit

Our Mayor's did not blame Bush or anyone else

Our Governor did not blame Bush or anyone else either

CNN, ABC, CBS, FOX, or NBC did not visit - or report on
    this category 5 snow storm

    Nobody demanded $2,000 debit cards.....

No one asked for a FEMA Trailer House....

    No one looted....

Nobody - I mean Nobody demanded the government do something Nobody expected the government to do anything either

No Larry King, No Bill O'Rielly, No Oprah, No Chris
Mathews and No Geraldo Rivera, No Sean Penn, No Barbara Striesand, No Hollywood types
    to be found

    AND

We just sent out caravans of SUV's to pluck people out of snow
    engulfed cars

The truck drivers pulled people out of snow banks and
    didn't ask for a penny

Local restaurants made food and the police and fire
departments delivered it to the snow bound families

Families took in the stranded people - total strangers

    We Fired up wood stoves

Broke out coal oil lanterns or coleman lanterns

We put on an extra layers of clothes because up here it
    is "Work or Die"

We did not wait for some affirmative action government to
get us out of a mess created by being immobilized by a welfare program that trades votes for 'sittin at home' checks.

Even though a Category "5" blizzard of this scale has never fallen this early we know it can happen and how to deal
    with it ourselves.

"In my many travels, I have noticed that once one gets north of about 48 degrees North Latitude, 90% most of the world's social problems evaporate."

On one side I am a fourth generation American. On the other my family tree goes back to 1642. My citizenship is not only a result of immigration followed by an accident of birth, but something I have earned by serving honorably in both the Navy and Army National Guard. My fiancée is a Filipina whose family lives in destitute poverty. I understand the desire to live in America. I also know the trials of acquiring a visa.

However, our government is treasonous in their disregard for illegal immigration. As someone said earlier, it is an invasion. If we applied the same dilligence, capital, and manpower to securing our borders as we did towards the supposed Y2K problem, it would be a breeze. Manpower, equipment including military aircraft and satelites, and accountabilty.

Our biggest hinderance to this problem is Corporate America. our jobs have been sent south and overseas. Sam Walton's "Made in the USA" Wal-mart no longer exists, just like so many mom and pop businesses, who could not compete with their importing products from sweatshop nations.

If we sealed the border, then permanently revoked the business licenses of any individual or corporation found using any under the table labor, including illegal immigrants, and then gave an opportunity to the illegals to request permanent residence, with registration, we would solve many problems, renew American jobs, increase tax revenue, and eliminate much debt and many security problems.

For those illegals who do not register, tattoo the universal "NO" symbol on the back of their hands and deport them for the first offense with a ban for life. Second offense, treat them as spies and enemies of the state as our constitution allows.

Read Jeff Head's Dragon's Fury Series. It is about "The Comiing World War III". He gives vivid possible realities about our relationship with Mexico if we have another World War!

  • State trooper or panhandler? Drivers fooled (COP IN DISGUISE BUSTS NON-SEATBELT WEARERS)

South Carolina just went from seatbelt laws being secondary to primary. Secondary meant they had to stop you for a different reason than not wearing your seat belt before they could cite you for not wearing it.

Now it is anything goes. Funny how we have child restraint laws for inside the cab of a vehicle, but you can stick ten kids in the back of an open pickup truck or put your eight year old on the back of a motorcycle.

I see a prgression here. Soon any type of activity that might be considered dangerous, that you can have health or life insurance for, will soon be illegal; motorcyling, riding in the back of a pickup truck, golfing, hiking, operating a motor vehicle, playing tennis, bungee jumping, all contact sports, walking, dog training (so dog ownership will have to be made illegal too!), sex and dating, eating fried foods, ad nauseum.

What happened to "...of the people, by the people"?

It's revenue, insurance companies, and liberal control freaks!
