If you study the photograph of Bishopress Schori and her fellow priestess, you will note that their gaily festooned liturgical costumes fail to display a SINGLE christian symbol. Indeed, if the cross suspended over their heads was removed, there would be NOTHING in the shot that suggest either christianity or the Episcopal church which these femclowns and their cohorts have helped to destroy over the last 30 years. Indeed, we see orbs [Gaia? Mother Earth?], wicca-like moon beams and a crozier displaying a possible Orthodox cross. God help us.

NOW, The Human Rights Campaign, Amnesty International, et al, share one common purpose; their hatred of George Bush. None of them would say anything, write anything or do anything that might lend credibility to him, his legacy or his administration. They want one thing only; a total democratic victory in November of ‘08 and they are willing to sacrifice ANYTHING to get it.

It was NEVER about the war in Iraq, Katrina, detainees and torture, surveillance, terrorism, Cuba, oil, Alaskan drilling or anything else. For the democrats and the looney, liberal left it was ALWAYS about their hatred of George W. Bush, President of the United States of America. They loath and detest him so much that they would lose the war and drive oil to $200 a barrel rather than see him get credit for doing the right thing. Wake Up, America! These truly evil people must be stopped at the ballot box, starting with Harry reid and Nancy pelosi.

R_Kangel: Well, of course you’re right...BUT... in a country where three innocent students could be lynched by the Duke faculty and Nifong simply for being White, and where the University of Delaware requires a “racism reeducation program” for all White freshman, and where a Florida elementary school teacher required students to honor Consiencious Objectors on Veterans Day, why would you expect Thanksgiving to escape the radical leftist mindset?

Liberals in the Western World and the USA in particular think of religion as an annoying holdover from the Middle Ages. They work overtime to stamp out faith in an effort to move us into a secular, “enlightened” 21st Century. They simply do not comprehend the depth of religious fervor among vast populations of the planet. One need only remember the recent destruction of the two thousand year-old Rushmore-like Buddhas carved into an Afghanistan mountainside; blown up by the Taliban because they offended islamic law. In spite of pleas from historians, art curators, the United Nations and Buddhists around the world, the irreplaceable statues were destroyed forever. A few weeks later a 21 year old woman, kneeling in the center of a packed Kabul soccer stadium filled with howling spectators had her brains blown out by Taliban executioners for daring to date a man without the approval of her male family. In these two horrific acts, we get a chilling glimpse of what awaits us if islamo-facism ever triumph. When will the anti-war liberals figure it out? After nearly a thousand years, some Muslim extremists have resurrected the Crusades and they plan to win it!

When viewed as a whole, The Padilla conviction, the AP and NYT reactions to it, the recent confession at MSNBC that most young journalists are ‘activists’ and liberals, the newsroom booing at the President and the blatant anti-Bush vitriol of the Daily Kos and MoveOn.org, is anyone surprised that a majority of Americans no longer trust the press as a source of unbiased news and wish they were more pro-American? Add to that the growing liberal-left chorus demanding a return to the so-called Fairness Doctrine [read that as gagging conservative talk-show hosts], and you come to the conclusion that the 1st Amendment is under attack from a liberal-facist machine hitherto unseen in the American democratic process. Their mantra is chillingly simple: “We have seen the enemy and the enemy us us!”

The intent of the ‘california plan’ is simple: It would break the iron grip of large [usually liberal] cities on any state’s electroal votes, allowing voters in suburban and rural areas of the state to actually have a say in who gets them. For generations, the strategy of the dems has been simple... win big in big cities where their base [labor, minorities, gays, etc] is concentrated in large numbers and, voila!, they win ALL the state’s electoral votes. In 2004, geographically, Bush carried California except in LA, SF, Berkely and San Diego. In Pennsylvania, one need only carry Philadelphia and Pittsburg to win it all. And, of course, there is New York City.... Interestingly, the Constitution is silent on HOW states must apportion their electoral votes.
