I don't remember when he said it but it bears repeating: "They've gone so left, they've left America..." Amen Godspeed Ronald Reagan! We will never forget you!

The partisan rants in the media are endless. If you came from another planet, you would think that Bush is the most hated man in America and that masses were storming the gates of the White House to run him out of town on a rail! But, nevertheless, Bush is holding his own, according to the latest parade of endless meaningless polls. And the polls are taken to see if the publics care about the latest rant. Has it been effective or do they have to move to the next one. Which will be followed by another poll taken for...

I was a fly on the wall to the most amusing conversation at lunch yesterday. Conservative Christian biologist is considered an oxymoron. Well I am one. And my colleagues know it. Working in Princeton NJ I’m surrounded by academic liberal elite type from New York and Jersey They know I’m always late for lunch because I’m listening to Rush Limbaugh’s opening monologue. They also know that when they get me going on politics that I give no quarter. The phrase I here most often is “yes you make sense and I know that socialism doesn’t make anyone rich but can’t...

In 1943, Czech partisans assaninated Reinhard Heydrich in Prague by throwing a hand grenade into his open car. Reichprotector Heydrich was the highest ranking Nazi at the time second only to Hitler. Heydrich, unlike Himmler, Goebels, or Goring, was not a blind fanatic. He was an intelectual, a professor of philosopy, and seen as the true brains behind Hitler and his blind ambition. Many saw him as Hitler's mentor. Heydrich was the one who created the logistics of executing "The Final Solution" right down to the use of Zyclon B in the gas chambers. At the time of his death,...

ETA, the basque separtist group in Spain has denied any involvement in the attack yesterday. If you look into their history, mass murder is not their thing. But al-Qaida HAS accepted responsibility for the attack. Mass murder is their M.O. But that is not what ABC, NBC, CBS et al would want you to think. Does anyone think that there is a concerted effort in the media to discount al-Qaida? Bush has been saying that this war is far from over. Kerry wants us to believe that 9/11 is not only a distant memory but has been dealt with. Any...

This is the best they got?KerryIt's Vietnam all over again, A quagmire I tell you a quagmire! My vote for the war was so you couldn't go to war! How dare you go to the UN with promises instead of empty rhetoric! Brent Scowcroft and Jim Baker promised me (or someone I know) that you were only kidding! You misled us by telling us what you were going to do, and had the balls to actually do it!! No politician does that you liar!! W, I went to Vietnam, I served in Vietnam, We lost in Vietnam, and Mr. Bush,...

Conservative pundits have panned to Democratic party’s Bush bashing and gutter slime politics as signs of a political movement on it’s last desparate gasp as they lack any “vision” for the future. On the contrary. There is plenty of vision in their rhetoric. Granted there are no new ideas in the vision but it is there just the same. Higher taxes, socialized medicine, UN sovereignty over US sovereignty, blah, blah, blah. This is the same elitist stuff they are spouting for years. This their way to “establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare,...

As Street wins this race the city of Philadelphia, my home CITY, is doomed. Well, let me revise the part of my home city: I am one of these Blue Blood Main Line natives (Paoli, PA) who grew up in the burbs, but moved into the city living off a grad student stipend at MCP in Roxborough. After 10 years of studing and risk taking with a biotech company I was able to move out to Montgomery County but not without taking an eyeopening look at how Philly works.Philadelphia is corrupt from top to bottom. Has been for years. And...

Why has no one called Comcast on allowing Ed Rendell free face time on Comcast Sportsnet after every Eagles game? He started doing this 2 years ago when he was out of office as mayor of Philly, and just a private citizen. And thats fine. But now Comcast is allowing Governor Ed, an elected official, to continue to be a sports analyst for the Eagles. He doesn't do politics but it is a slap in the face for the other city in PA, Pittsburgh, who are also his constituents. And don't compare him with Rush Limbaugh on ESPN. Rush is...

I am struck by several phrases out of the pundits on the Republican side that frankly I find alarming. 1) Bush is in the strongest re-elect position of most recent 3rd year presidents. 2) Bush has the economy starting to rebound at just the right time even though unemployment has yet to come around. It in fact may not as the economy is loosing manufacturing jobs in favor of higher skilled service area jobs. 3) The Dems offer no positive message other than anti-Bush. 4) Even if WMDs are not found in Iraq he can make a case that the...

There is so much hype that this movie sucks that I have to ask this question. Is Hollywood appealling to the grade B crowd? "Showgirls" was pornographic and pathetic (as opposed to "Basic Instinct" which in spite of the porn was a realy good yarn). Yet they bothered to make a DVD of this piece of sh*t. "Pearl Harbor" (also with Ben Aflek) was an insult to the veterans of the event and a mockery of "Tora, Tora, Tora" yet even I have the DVD! There are people out there that love crap movies and make "cult" status to them....

We are getting inundated with shrieks from the liberals of “Where are the weapons of mass destruction? Where’s the anthrax and botulotoxin we were told he had? Where’s the sarin gas and the nukes? Bush and Blair lied to us and took us to war on false pretenses!!” It doesn’t matter how many mass graves we find, how many banned conventional weapons we find, how many raw materials we find, etc. Mobile labs?? They can be used for anything (don’t you just love these microbiologist in the peace movement?)! On and on this goes and it was predictable from the...

Scott Ritter was on Hannity this afternoon trying to defend his antiwar stance that has made the Hollywood Left rants seem sane and reasonable. Sean pointed out that Ritter has completely contradicted his statements he made in '98 regarding Iraq. Ritter threatened to sue Sean for calling him a liar. Personally, I don't know why Sean gave him the air time, but it was heated and fun to listen to!!Ritter is a raving maniac these days. I don't really understand it but I do have several theories. My first one is that he was a UN plant overseeing some shakedown operation...

Has Sean Hannity axed his daily updates by Col. Hackworth? If not he should. I would bet good money he is the unnamed Col. calling Rumsfeld "McNamarra Redux" cited in The New York Times, and questioning the war srategy. He has shown his disdain for Rummy in the recent past. But I bet he didn't go into detail unless under the condition of anonimoty with the times in order to preserve his talk show circuit gig during the war. He seeks relevancy when his time is long past. He hasn't served since Vietman. He has been long been a critic...
