Just about two weeks ago was the 105th anniversary of the Galveston Flood (Sept 8, 1900), which killed 8,000, after Galveston was hit by a category 4 hurricane.

Those pro-condom "Catholic" groups had apparently put up an ad that said "Real Catholics use condoms." The ad was torn down, and written in its place was "Abstinence works" and "Trust the Pope." Ah, the wonders of Catholic graffiti. I just wish I had taken a picture.
As one of these young people (though not in the group mentioned in the press release (there are three groups of us going around different parts of the country - I'm in Great Lakes)), I thank you for your kind comments and support. It means alot to all of us here on the Crusade.

That trend is happening elsewhere too. A number of my female friends (all of us are in college) wear chapel veils. They're the *real* good Catholic girls.

Well, we are doing fundraising to help finance the walk this summer (ALL has expanded it to three routes this year - the Northeast, Great Lakes, and California), but during the walk, we're focusing solely on spreading the pro-life message in general and the specific message that "You can't be Catholic and pro-abortion [or pro-choice]." I'll see what I can do to post our journal entries onto Free Republic. All of our information, including updates (as they are available) from all three routes, is available at www.crusadeforlife2005.com. Hopefully in the next few days I can get a post up with more detailed information on our mission and our routes.

When the kids from American Life League came through Philly, Rigali refused to let a Mass be celebrated in their honor, reportedly because the ALL had taken out the anti-McCarrick ad.
As one of the American Life League kids this summer, that's disappointing. This year, we are still banned from Philly, but we are having a meeting with His Eminence.
