Golden Age of America today. Liberation day. Excoriated previous admins while they were forced to sit and take it. Drill baby drill to bring down prices. No EV mandate. Cartels = terrorists. Military to border. America always first. Recognition of only two genders. Return respect to America. Reinstate return to Mexico policy. Deport illegals. Restore freedom of speech. Gulf of America and Mt McKinley. Stop weaponization of DOJ. Tore them up. It was a a Trump rally.
About $4.50 in NE Ohio if you buy the large quantity pack. Closer to $5 ish per dozen. Walmart advertised $3.50, but their shelves were empty of those. It’s really bad. I paid like $22 for a five dozen pack.
Tough after working hard your whole life to realize buying eggs is still an issue.
I’m sure the soldiers had to carefully examine the evidence for legal purposes.
Some other kids in the group claimed this was so. They said they peeked around the curtain of their train cabin and saw the guards looking through it and smiling.
People used to have false bottoms on luggage so they could bring French published copies of books by American authors such as Henry Miller.
When I was a kid I got busted trying to smuggle a Penthouse into the Soviet Union to sell on the black market. Took the soldiers like two minutes to find it in my heating vent. I had to sign several papers with upside down threes and backwards B’s on it. Thought I was going to the gulag for sure. Had to settle for selling my old blue jeans and an Beatles mix tape.
Sigh. I remember how I was introduced to their music. Arrived in 1991 as the only white boy to work in the personnel office on my ship (USN). I had zero dibs on the boom box. Sam and Dave was a favorite of mine. This announcement brings back great memories of a different, adventurous time in my life.
Asked an agent who is a friend and he said that while they can’t “drop” policies, they can refuse to renew them when their coverage period expires. Not sure if he’s right or wrong. He also said State Farm is taking the biggest hit from these fires fwiw.
Yeah suppose you’re right. Attribute it to watching as a fan and not feeling comfortable about a win until that strip, scoop, and score. Probably a neutral observer would have been a lot less nervous about Texas pulling it out. Watching how the Texas-ASU game ended probably didn’t help.
They did??? They never lead the game at any point...
Yeah, but when they tied it at 0:29 left first half, they pushed right down the field. Luckily the Bucs had a great play to snuff it out to retake the lead. Second half seemed like Texas had the Bucs offense bottled up and had a field position advantage. The back to back Buckeye interference penalties in the end zone leading to first and goal from the 1. Defense ended up snuffing that out as well. Both of those drives felt like OSU was totally on their heels, til they weren’t.
