Here is a report on Intelligence and Defense funding throughout the 1980s and 1990s. It’s the best thing you’ll find on Intelligence funding in those years:
You could also source Tenet’s comments about Intel funding in the 1990s:
“By the mid-1990s the Intelligence Community was operating with significant erosion in resources and people and was unable to keep pace with technological change. When I became DCI, I found a Community and a CIA whose dollars were declining and whose expertise was ebbing.”
Congress revised the laws as a result of this. Laws which can be ruled unconstitutional by the SUPREME COURT!
The Supreme Court hasn't ruled any such thing. You don't even know what these laws are, and you are making the same arguments as the lawyers of the terrorists. You obviously aren't a conservative.
You think no US court has jurisdiction over our US base at Gitmo!? Not even the Supreme Court!? What dream world do you live in? RASUL V. BUSH
This decision has no standing. Congress revised the laws as a result of this. Federal courts have no jurisdiction over habeas corpus of the Gitmo detainees. Judge Kennedy also tried to assert that Gitmo is US territory but considering the terminology of the lease, his opinion has no standing.

Many larger academic libraries subscribe to Lexis-Nexis. It isn't just for law articles. People like Rush and Ann probably use it mostly for its databases that include mainstream media news articles. If your local large academic library has it and allows access to the public, you can walk in, sit down at a computer, and search it yourself. Factiva is a similar database, although I haven't used it as much.
Rush isn't the only one who is "strangely" silent right now. I can understand why he is, because his own investigators need to find out who is behind this. Sounds like a celebrity setup to me. Rush had a ligitimate prescription for a small amount of pills and these criminals used his name to buy thousands, which they used/sold themselves.
But where are the Clintons on all this? Why aren't they rejoicing and condemning Rush in front of thousands of TV cameras? Why am I not hearing their opinions on this on the radio? They've been after Rush for years. Now when it seems he's in trouble, they just strangely clam up? Does anyone have a link to a comment by the Clintons on this?
