Anyone see MSNBC this morning? It seems that through the talking head and the text on the screen, they are now referring to the Republican Guard as the Iraq Republican Party! I heard them say it multiple times! Mistake? (not!)

Here are two things that really irritated me in this past election: 1) The AFL-CIO spammed me on my cell phone, asking me to vote for the 'rat running for Congress in my district (Dan Wofford, 6th District PA)! Debbie Stabenow, Michigan Democrat, was aboard this week's U.S. Airways Flight 969 from Pittsburgh to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, only to be diverted to Washington Dulles International Airport after a passenger became unruly and was tackled by sky marshals. The passenger, Raho N. Ortiz, was accused of failing to follow commands of the flight crew to remain in his seat as the plane made its final descent into Reagan.</p>

WHEN IT comes to driving a car, he's no Angel. City Councilman Angel Ortiz has been a lawbreaker since soon after he settled in Philadelphia as a young community legal services attorney in 1976. He has been driving all this time without a driver's license. Acting New Jersey governor DeFrancesco has signed legislation to require parental consent before minors can be tattooed or have parts of their bodies pierced. Parlors could face penalties for non-compliance. The new law makes it a disorderly person offense in New Jersey to body-pierce or tattoo a minor, 17 years of age or under without a parent's prior consent. Conviction is punishable by a jail term of up to 6 months and a fine of $1,000. Linux Makers in China Allegedly Violating Terms HONG KONG - Linux software developers in mainland China are acting against the spirit of open-source programming by not sharing their modified source code, Red Hat VP and Managing Director Mark White said last week. "China has a history of being able to take U.S.- or European-developed software or technology products and then try and take control of [them] by wrapping a Chinese applications layer around it and saying it is now their technology," White said. Sorry if this has been posted already - I did a search and did not see it. They are showing the results of this poll on the air today. Florida’s secretary of state wants to certify the state’s election results now that overseas absentee ballots have been counted. But Democrats have appealed that decision to the Florida Supreme Court, which will hear arguments Monday. Who should decide fhe Florida election? Katherine Harris or the Courts?

Anyone hear the Howard Stern radio show yesterday? One of Stern's "reporters" (maybe Stuttering John) caught up with Rudy from Survivor at some function. One of the questions asked was something like "do you think George W. Bush is smart enough to be president?". Rudy replied with an emphatic "oh, yeah". Then he added something like "anything would be better than what we got there now" and "we gotta get Clinton out of there". I think the Bush campaign needs to get Rudy out on the stump with W.!!!
