I’ve never believed that credential..... IMHO McCain has always been a fraud .... Being shot down does not make him any more a hero than others who were also shot down. The real heros did not return; but that’s just MO. I had friends that flew missions that were NOT shot down.. Are they not at least equal to those less fortunate or less competent? .. A matter of duty and courage.... not hero worship. Trump is right.

Anyone know the genesis of the claim McCain turned down the offer of release because his other prison mates would not be released? I have always thought the NV controlled who they let go and were not in the habit of letting the captive determine his fate. If there were political points to gain by releasing an Admiral’s son I have always assumed they would have put him on a bus and sent him home regardless of his “preference”.

Does this mean you (all) are not conservatives? or that Conservatives in general should accept your version of acceptable imperfection, or there should be no discussion of who is a RINO 2 years out from an election? Please clarify...Seems to me the discussion should be not about who is perfect but who is the best conservative given each one's imperfections...would that be ok with you or should we just accept your choice and be done with it...Seems to me it is important to sort out just who will best represent our political views.

Bush has done a masterful job of completely submarining the GOP and the GOP has been trying to row underwater to help him out...whatta putz. If you look at the likely Republican candidates, not a one will carry the conservative South and the GOP cannot win without the South. You can take that to the bank. This election is toast already. Please provide a detailed description of the formal process that must be followed and list the specific questions that must be answered before the President can use his predefined constitutional authority to issue a pardon in this case, and cite the legal source of these requirements."

If Rudy gets the Republican nod, Hillary cannot be stopped. Gulianni cannot carry enough of the Republican base and will not get the black or hispanic vote and independents and blue dog Dems will at best split down the middle if not block up for Hillary. There is little differenc between them and Hillary is more deft. Terrible mistake if he gets the nomination. Gulianni is possibly the only Republican nominee that can guarantee a Hillary victory, IMHO of course.

If Hunter is to have a chance he has to refurbish his physical image and conservatives (and FReepers) in the early primary states need to start Yesterday boosting this guy. He is late to the party and low in visibility and conservative and the RINO party bosses will do whatever they can to submarine him...we had best get very busy at the grass roots and quick.
