I wonder if the Fulton Co. Sheriffs Deputies have the high-speed locking holsters that prevent incidents such as this. It’s been my experience in law enforcement that many of the sheriff’s deputies assigned to bailiff and other court duties are not as well equipped as the beat-walking officers of most PD’s. I know of some bailiff’s who still carry revolvers!

Complete BS. Why don’t we altogether abolish the INS and US Border Patrol while we’re at it!

1/8 – My old unit and a DAMN GOOD OUTFIT! Their motto is “Tip of the Spear” and “Foul-Weather Warriors”. They always seem to get deployed to the hottest spots. God bless every one of them and their families - may they all return home safely as soon as possible!

These people and their religion are sick and misguided. The promote oppression, encourage violence and illiteracy, endorse false prophecies and threaten/kill anyone opposed to their views. They hold no value for human life and the term ‘respect; is transparent and meaningless. They oppress women while engaging in sodomy and other homosexual activities. I could go on but you probably get the point. See something wrong with this? Islam.........

On a serious note, there’s no better place for an attack than the lackadaisical mindset of the Midwest (not to mention the “red states” factor, and the media hype about the “heartland” of American mainly responsible for Bush’s reelection). Nothing against the Midwest – I live there/here too, but compared to the security in other regions, we are pretty relaxed and unfortunately vulnerable to attack.

I go to school with a fella from the Middle East (young, quiet, keeps to himself and “fits the profile”). Talked to him once – although he’s very soft-spoken, he makes no bones about his intentions of “getting his education and get back home as soon as possible”. Suspicious – Yes, and kinda makes you wonder (i.e., front for a sleeper-cell?)...
