Do you think this individual will get the scorn and hatred that Linda Tripp got? Do you think the cops will fan out to all the radio shacks to find out where the tape recorder was purchased?
When the libs bring this up, we have two words: Linda Tripp
Bert says that the ground asked Mike to shut down the engine when the rolls started, but Mike keep going long enough to attain (barely) the required altitude. Bert said they used "a lot" of the RCS fuel for both systems in order to stabalize the roll.
Bert said he doesn't know if the roll issue will delay the next launch, but that the ship seems to be in excellent shape and they should be able to go again "Sunday or Monday".
The rolls were probably started by wind shear. At Oshkosh Bert said that the FAA required them to fly a profile that was less than optimum in order to avoid overlight of populated areas. He said the required profile was more dangerous than the optimum because it presents more wind shear danger.
This wind shear issue seemed to be a big deal to Bert.
This is an uban legend that a couple of guys are making a lot of money off of. It was there well before the election of 2000 and had absolutely no bearing at all on the election and will probably have even less now that it has all been proven a lie.
The DU'ers are all excited because they found a Bush's offical Air Force picture from the early 1970s in which he wears an Air Force Outstanding Unit award ribbon.
He is wearing it by custom, because his unit won this award in 1966.
Look for the Democrats to make an issue of this picture soon.
