Morales was sentenced to death for the rape and murder of Terri Lynn Winchell, a 17 year old Lodi Tokay High school senior. Terri was 17 and just months away from her high school graduation when she disappeared Jan. 8, 1981. The next day her body was found in a vieyard in Lodi.
