Of course the market was bound to correct at some point. I hope that, even though Trump is involved, people can remain rational enough to see this thing through.
Of course I agree it’s a political act — but at least he seems to have the state constitution on his side. Those demanding to speak Spanish here in the states have even less legal footing.
Exactly my first thought on reading this story. I couldn’t believe the policy was allowed to stand — much less enacted!! — under the Trump administration.
#3 and 5 on your list would be my guesses. Even if he doesn’t get trashed for the speech, though, they’ll dismiss it as meaningless and rehash all the stuff they’ve been talking about for two years.
I’ve been underwhelmed, to say the least, by every posthumously released album (save records like Sublime’s that were already produced to be released when the artist died), but I’ll reserve judgment. Wasn’t a huge fan of his style, but he was definitely an icon.
