Apparently the "mere" misdemeanor was not enough to deport him!
The L.A. Times reported, "Since Silverio had never received U.S. citizenship, [his attorney] said, he is likely to be deported to the Philippines upon release from prison."
I don’t post here often, but I remember the speculation when Fr. Tom first left HLI a number of months back. A Freeper posted a comment along the lines of, “I hope this is not a Fr. Cutie-like situation.”
Eesh. Seems pretty close. Except Fr. Tom is far more repentant.

I appreciate your reply. I thought I had made it pretty obvious that I was the author when I put my name in the author line at the top of the post and my bio in the first comment!
If it was unclear to you or anyone ... Sorry! I was just trying to make things easy. I just don't appreciate being called "deceptive" and "not truthful," when I strive to be truthful everyday.
So ... I apologize for being unclear. How about you? You say I have "one customer review" (and, by the way, "davidwrites" is NOT me), but you ignore the three nice testimonials the book has from legitimate outside sources.

I heard him reviewing this movie. I have never heard Medved so upset ... ever in all the years I have listened to him. To think that this will be used by our enemy to recruit terrorists.
I agree. The only other time I heard him this worked up about a movie was around the time of 'Passion of the Christ.' He opened his show with an incredibly passionate monologue about how critics were trying to pan a great film like 'Passion' after having praised such garbage in the past. (I think I remember him citing an awful and gross film called "Crash," which critics supposedly fawned over.)

I would try and think of more negative adjectives to describe how awful this movie is, but I think Medved used them all up! (But I came up with ‘awful.’)
"Christianity a death cult, yeah OK. Let`s put that to the test...Let the LA Times publish a cartoon of Jesus and then one of Mohammed and see what happens."
