All is going quite well. My job is still a lot of work, but at least I'm getting a little bit of downtime. Today I worked on a quilt I'm making for my new nephew. I made one for Jerry when he was born, and I want his brother to have one too. I'm crossing my fingers I'll have it finished before he's born. Theoretically, I have until mid-May.
Almost forgot to tell you. Awhile back you inspired me to make a collage with Laura in it. I finally got around to it. It was supposed to be all Laura originally, but I cheated. I couldn't resist putting in some pics of her and Dubya. They're just too darn cute together. I posted it a little while ago. Check it out.
I found one of the Christas photo CDs. Here's Jerry checking out the new couch I bought him for Christmas. I just left it under the tree, and he went right over and wanted to climb on it.
Still, it's not quite as crazy as it was for awhile. It is going well, and I'm having a great time with it.
I took some time off to see Jerry on Friday night. He tried to kiss me, but he hasn't quite caught on how to do it yet. He pulled himself up by the couch and put his mouth on my knee. He also made my sister's night when he said "mama." (Usually it's Dada).
He sure liked the Christmas present I got him. It's a miniature baby-sized couch with Tigger on it. You can fold it out into a little bed. He saw it under the tree and climbed right up on it.
People like that are why so many kids are materialistic and don't turn out right. My mom bought some of those little sleeping bag/sleeper things at a garage sale, and they worked great for Jerry. Except now he wants to crawl and pull himself upright all the time, so he can't wear them anymore without tripping. Still, they are perfect for newborns.
