Today, I was informed by the nursing home that it is in the process of moving 2 current residents from Alzheimer's Unit to the general floor, and there will be an opening within the next 7 - 10 days. Started the process for nursing home placement for my mother with now advanced Alzheimer's Disease in December 2014. Anticipated August 7, 2015 admission date.

In the small rural city that I live in the UP of Michigan the City Manager walked into his office on July 13, submitted his letter of resignation effective immediately, turned his keys in and walked out the door. Now the proverbial piece of excrement wants to have the acceptance of his resignation rescinded. The city council has already appointed a interim city manager and the person is doing the job, suddenly the excrement wants his job back. the city manager's history throughout all of Michigan uper and lower peninsula is that he has been terminated from eight other positions

recently, came to my attention after filing a police report, whereby the city manager granted special provisions to his insurance carrier whom was in violation of a zoning ordinance. the zoning ordinance is specific and the city manager allowed the zoning ordinance infraction to be overlooked, a multi-vehicle accident whereby serious injuries ensued. The city manager is claiming doing nothing wrong, but the emails claim otherwise

Yesterday the posts were that SeaHawks were going to win and dominate the game and that the Superbowl was going to be Patriots vs SeaHawks. What has happened? Another half to go and hopefully the SeaHawks will at least show up. Go Packers Go

Today, the painful decision has been made to start the process for Nursing Home Placement of my mother who is the last stage (stage 7) of Alzheimers Disease. I have to have multiple surgeries and I can no longer take care of her by myself. Pray for the situation as my mother will decline rapidly once she goes into the nursing home. She has six children and I am the only one whom has been involved the last 4 years. Have not been given a date but placement will come soon.

The Municipal Employees Retirement System(MERS) requires members to be a minimum of 80% funded to be able to make any improvements in their current plans. The City is currently 78.9% funded.
