Please pray for my wife. She was carrying a computer CPU box, slipped and fell forward, landing on the box. Her fingers took the shock as she drove them into the ground with all her weight on the box. She ended up with her right middle finger almost completely severed with lower half of joint destroyed and much gravel and organic debris imbedded. Please pray that no infection would take hold. My sister was diagnosed with a rare lung disease on Friday, Interstatial Lung Disease. The prognosis is terminal. She is only 29 and in otherwise good health.Appearantly, an infection, the nature of which is unknown, is producing a constant state of pneumonia. Since the doctors don't know the nature of the infection, they can not stop it. It is causing scar tissue to form all throughout the lungs. Scar tissue isn't very elastic and will not permit oxygen to travel from the lungs to the blood.End result is that the doctor said in 1 to 2 years she will suffocate.Requesting...

In what's sure to be a relief to farmers in Oregon's Klamath Basin, Interior Secretary Gale Norton was expected to announce a release of irrigation water Tuesday morning. A spokesman for Sen. Gordon Smith, R-Ore., said Norton would announce the release of 70,000 to 75,000 acre-feet of water into the Klamath Basin. The announcement was to take place in Portland at 10:45 a.m. PDT.
