The cross goes both ways. His sacrifice saved the ones before him who lived as God wanted them to. The ones after Christ died, must follow the scripture and obey His Word and all that entails in order to be saved.

I know people are not going to like to hear this, but here I go: I will vote for McCain even though I had to be one of the biggest supporters of Fred Thompson since BEFORE he entered the race. I don’t believe he entered illegitimately, I believe he really would have gone the whole way if he had gotten the backing he was hoping for. Independants and Dems voted for McCain in the open primaries, which closed Thompson out. He is backing McCain for the same reason we should, keeping a Republican in the White House. Yes, yes, I know most don’t see McCain as a Republican, but I promise, four years of Osama Obama or Billary and you will beg for McCain. If he asks Fred to be his runningmate (hopeful here) Fred can balance McCain out and I believe they would make a good team. We need a Republican in the White House in the next four years. Do you not realize the next President will pick two more judges for the Supreme Court? That’s huge, and not to mention staying the course in Iraq and keeping our military strong. Dems will rape us in these areas. NO, WE MUST GET A REPUBLICAN TO THE WHITE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, that means McCain. and Hopefully Thompson.

I voted in the SC primary for Fred, and knew of so many others who did the same, it’s not the south it use to be my friends, there are so many northerners down here now listed as independants and that’s why the vote went to McCain, the true conservatives here are a-plenty (to use a term from a well know restaurant here in town The Beacon) but with an open primary in Iowa, NH and SC, what chance did a true conservative have? So many now can’t vote for the man, this system is broken, a heap of a mess and in desperate need of an overhaul. You won’t see a true conservative ever again in the White House with the system in place now.

That’s what I feel he believes also, if you read his article carefully, I think Thompson would have been Hanson’s pick, but he knows all too well what will happen if Obama or Hillary get in the White House. Something Fred talked about a lot also ( I went to three of his visits in SC) which is the Supreme Court. Look what liberals did to unborn babies all these years since Roe v Wade? We cannot take the chance of a Democratic President getting 2 liberal judges on the bench, we CAN’T! If Fred is McCain’s runningmate, Good Lord, I’m voting! My motto now is: A little Fred is better than NO Fred!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
