Visit the Imperial War Museum and Tower of London. When you get to the Tower, there’s a place right after you go in , where you can wait for the next guided tour to start, that is the best way to see it IMHO.
Just a side note to anyone who will be travelling west bound on the 210/10 and 134 freeways- If you are going to try to go to the ticket booth (9 am), give yourself plenty of time to get there.
The traffic in that direction, at that time, tends to be pretty bad. (Lot's of people commute to LA from the eastern counties for work.) FYI.
Just got back from polling place in California. There was an elderly man in a wheelchair, on a ventilator, unable to move, being "assisted" to vote. The woman asked loudly: "So you want to vote for Obama?" I never heard his reply. She "checked" his ballot off for him. (Wonder if he knows he just voted to shut his vent off?)
Then the girl in front of me was complaining that she had not voted by mail or voted at all. (They told her they had her listed as already voted.) They gave her a provisional ballot.
Other than those two incidents everything else went smoothly. I don't expect much from California anyway- but at least we voted.
