Texas Sen. Ted Cruz will be making his first late-night appearance
on NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno"
when he visits on Friday, Nov. 8.
The show airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT weeknights, but
it generally tapes at 4:30pm (Pacific Time),
and takes approximately one hour.
You CANNOT arrive later than 3:15 pm, however,
and even be considered for entrance.
So, use discretion about YOUR actual arrival time,
but getting there EARLY is always BETTER.
Any REALLY "hard core" FReepers can join us
as we arive there before dawn. ;)
Hope some FReepers are there around 2 pm!By 2 pm, we may already be inside the building.
I recommend that you get there by noon -- or at the latest, by 1 pm -- just in case.
In the OLD DAYS, we were able to get tickets online, and we still got in.Doh!
That obvioulsy **should** have been:
In the OLD DAYS, we were NOT able to get tickets online, and we still got in.
:)
When I was there on Monday, construction blocked the south end of Bob Hope Drive, so you could not enter from the Riverside Drive side. DirectionsThe Tonight Show with Jay Leno tapes on the NBC Burbank lot in Studio 11, located just off of the 134 freeway. The pedestrian entrance is on Bob Hope Drive or East side of our facilities.
Street parking in the area is limited but can be found on surrounding side streets such as Bob Hope and Riverside Drive.
A paid parking option is located on California Street underneath the Clear Channel building.
Our address is 3000 W. Alameda Avenue Burbank, CA 91523.
The pedestrian entrance is on Bob Hope Drive or East side of our facilities. This is where we meet to get in, after you already have a ticket...
...or if you plan to get one of the "extra" tickets from me or Jeffers. There is a "holding area" surrounded by a black wrought iron fence which opens at 11 am, where the line starts to form.
Sometime around 1:30 pm or so, however, they will move us to the MAIN line, just outside the building,
and from this point, it will be difficult for anyone who still needs a ticket to get to us.
...we will be lining up to get some "extra" tickets on the day of the show,...at the "Box Office/Guset Relations" entrance on the WEST side of the facility, on California Street.
There is usually free parking just around the corner on Riverside Drive at that time of day.
Thanks for the helpful info and pics! We’re looking forward to it!
:)
BTTT
:)
Just a side note to anyone who will be travelling west bound on the 210/10 and 134 freeways- If you are going to try to go to the ticket booth (9 am), give yourself plenty of time to get there.
The traffic in that direction, at that time, tends to be pretty bad. (Lot's of people commute to LA from the eastern counties for work.) FYI.
EXCELLENT, freehouse3! (You have FReep-mail.)
Can you be there by 9 am - or?
Yes, that is my plan. I don't live too far from there.
See you soon!
I’ll be the 50-something white guy with short gray hair, carrying a CLIPBOARD. :)
And, wearing a BRIGHT RED flannel shirt.
I cannot vouch for this link, but it LOOKS promising!
