ALL: I wish to take this opportunity to thank all of my supporters for their confidence and their vote for me in yesterday’s GOP Primary for the U.S. Senate from Florida.

It was a tremendous experience. I learnt a lot, including the fact that we were “A Day Late & A Dollar Short!” Well, perhaps more than a dollar!! Unfortunately, it IS all about the money: With a budget of less than 30 Grand, we were no match for a multi-million dollar money machine.

In that regard note how “newcomer” Rick Scott won his race with a mere $40 million investment!

... But I’m not complaining, this IS what it is: It’s all about the survival of the fittest & we just have to be “The Fittest” next time around.

So I’m planning to sit back for a few months and watch the Rubio/Crist saga play out. Then we’ll be back in the fray in the New Year, for a better funded & organized shot at Bill Nelson’s seat in 2012.

It’s been sooo relaxing, being back at work today after 2 weeks non-stop on the Campaign Trail! Bring it on, with all those coughs & sore throats, y’all!

(Now I know why John McCain always looks so trashed at the end of his campaigns!) But I was lucky ~ I have a great wife, Les, who not only made all the arrangements, packed the bags, stamped the literature AND matched my ties; but also drove most of the miles and always got us there on time!

THANK YOU LES!!! (And she’s ready to do this again?!) That’s my kinda-gal.

I checked the AM-to-AM web-hits this morning: 8154 in the last 24 hours. SOMEONE is reading the truth!

The Family Name “ESCOFFERY” is originally French (”Escoffier”) and we are supposed to have originated on The Island of Corsica before getting to Jamaica via Haiti at around the time of The French Revolution.

Speaking of which (REVOLUTION) ~ may I suggest that it is now time for “A SECOND AMERICAN REVOLUTION”?

“Off with their heads,” say I. Metaphorically, of course! But, let’s get rid OF ALL THE CAREER POLITICIANS and Washington D.C. crooks ASAP!!

That sounds fair. There is so much to say that I urge you to check my web-site for all the details of my Platform. (www.SenateBill.US/)

But I will present you with a partial (somewhat disorganized) summary here. I INTEND TO: Downsize the Federal Government. Cut off their funding (repeal the Income Tax & Death Tax; ensure there is no “VAT”; go to a “Fair Tax” or “Flat Tax”). Pass an Amendment to force the feds to balance their budget. Stop all these “Bailouts”, let the economy correct itself. Allow private enterprise to create Jobs. Discontinue Obama’s Marxist programs. Repeal the XVII Amendment, reverse the “Marbury v. Madison” Judicial Supremacy travesty, severely limit the Commerce Clause, strengthen the 10th.& 2nd Amendments. Guard our Borders, prevent all illegal immigration, allow no amnesty for illegals, send all illegal immigrants home with their “Anchor Babies”, prosecute employers for hiring illegals. Root out government & corporate corruption, restore Bible Values in our schools & public places. Protect Life (ban abortion). Strengthen The Family; Defend U.S. Sovereignty (block U.N. intrusion) and safeguard individual liberty. Reverse Obama Health-Care. Abolish the IRS, DEA, BATF, FDA & Federal Dept of Education. Impose term limits (12 years for the Senate; 6-8 years for the House).

And there is so much more ... but this is just off the top of my head, late at night after campaigning all day. Check the web-site for details. Ask specific questions.

For example, as an addendum: I also strongly support Israel, think we should let them “Fix” Iran for us; believe we should protect America from any existential threat to the full extent of our Nuclear capability. (Watch Putin carefully). We must also balance ALL our budgets, cut back on welfare, do away with racial preferences, etc., etc.

We just don’t have space here for everything I stand for! ... I am pro-family; pro-heterosexual marriage, ... and the list goes on.

I hope this helps explain “My Platform!”

I really appreciate your Christian perspective, David. I was reading The Copelands (”From Faith To Faith, A Daily Guide To Victory”) and thinking about my current efforts. I was surprised and uplifted by the following entry for August 15th.: “Don’t ever short-circuit a miracle by trying to see it in progress!”(Hebrews 11:1-13).

I needed a good laugh after my recent exchanges with “Mr. Dirtboy”.

I am a bit embarrassed over my William III designation. But I did not want to implicate other family members in my current undertaking. (You might at least give me some credit for my sensitivity in that regard!)

And I absolutely respect your right to disagree with my platform. After all that is the very essence of The First Amendment. But the thing that puzzles me is the objection I perceive to someone running a vigorous Primary Campaign so as to appraise GOP voters of the strengths & weaknesses of ALL our candidates before we are irrevocably bound to those positions in our fight for the General Election.

How can secrecy & silence benefit our chances of ultimate success against Crist in this instance? That would be like marketing a car or a drug without road-tests or safety trials ... would it not?

I absolutely agree that immigration is only one of many important issues facing Florida and our Nation at this time. I did not have the space to include them all in our Debate Challenge letter to Rubio.

I do not believe Rubio has been “Crystal-Clear” on his stance regarding illegal immigration. I think he was uncertain about the Arizona Law, before he was against it for Florida.

I am encouraging everyone to ask him. May I task you with the chore (since Rubio’s office will not speak with me) of asking them that very same question, and reporting the answer back to us here?

Update #1) I scored 26% head-to-head against Rubio on the straw-poll of Republican voters taken following my powerful speech at the Pinellas County GOP Victory 2010 Picnic yesterday. (Interestingly, only eighty-some of the more than 400 persons present voted. Could they be cogitating deeply even as we speak?)

Update #2) Bill Kogut just co-signed the “Debate Challenge” for Marco to meet with us and present his ideas — in comparison to ours — to the voters of Florida.

May I ask what will be your opinion if Marco continues in hiding and refuses to debate us? Would he then be the kind of “Brave Warrior” you’d respect & value at your side? Do you want this sort of person to represent Florida?
