Male artists had a higher median yearly income of $30-40K(poor), while female-identifying and non-binary identifying respondents shared the median yearly income of $20-30K. I would argue that artists are profoundly exploited.

Milei drew heavy criticism for saying that the British prime minister during the Falklands War in 1982, Margaret Thatcher, was one of "the great leaders in the history of humanity". It is a "must" for Argentine politicians to "create noise over the Falklands"

Former U.S. President Donald Trump will visit Buenos Aires to meet with Argentine President-elect Javier Milei, the latter's press office said in a statement on Thursday following a call between them. Argentine libertarian Milei won the presidential run-off with some 56% of the vote, well ahead of Peronist Economy Minister Sergio Massa's 44%. Milei, who takes office on Dec. 10, is pledging economic shock therapy, with measures including shutting the central bank, ditching the peso and slashing spending. Trump's office did not immediately reply to a request for comment.

When a Whoopee Goldberg makes an insane comment why do we just react? Just accusing the democrats for taking the black vote for granted doesn't work. You know she's gonna do it again. Will we be ready? The answer is no.

The story has not really been about Colin Kaepernick at all. The story has been (and is) about how the establishment media creates news out of nothing, and keeps the narrative on life support long after the patient has died. Since 2016, while nothing was happening, we have been bombarded with “news” stories anticipating yet another milestone in Kaepernick’s career.

Argentinians go to the polls today, and one can only hope that conservative/libertarian candidate Javier Milei wins Argentina's presidency in a knockout, with enough votes to win free and clear without having to go to a runoff in November. We all know the reason why: His rabid, determined, enemies will have that much less time to plot against him. It might happen. But it's a nailbiter.

Why can’t a kid just say,“I am sixteen, I’ve had enough. I want to get out of this idiocy. Let me take the GED.” If you are enrolled in a high school program, why can’t you be allowed to take the GED and quit whenever you want? What we have now is a system just to warehouse kids and brainwash them. Attendance requirements are made just to provide employment for social workers.

it would be disingenuous for conservatives to celebrate without acknowledging the essential role McConnell has played in shaping today’s Court. The GOP Moderates-When the cards were down, the GOP moderates helped push Trump’s nominees through with razor-thin majorities. The Bush Family-While the Trump era Supreme Court nominees were essential to overturning Roe v. Wade, the Bush family was responsible for appointing two other conservatives: Justice Clarence Thomas and Justice Samuel Alito.

Some parents appear helpless to do anything about it. They know they ought to remove their kids from these schools but are helpless to do so. It is simple: both mother and father have to work. Neither of them can quit to home-teach their own children.

Adam Schiff, Katie Porter and Barbara Lee. “Our campaign is focused on quality-of-life issues, public safety, and education,” Garvey said in a statement. “As a U.S. Senator, I will serve with commonsense, compassion, and will work to build consensus to benefit all of the people of California.”

Aaron Rodgers was joking last week when he called Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce “Mr. Pfizer.” Rodgers also wasn’t joking. There was an edge of disdain and derision in the term that Rodgers used. When the subject came up during this week’s visit with Pat McAfee and company, it was clear that Rodgers had a strong anti-vaccine (or, as some — like me — would say, anti-science) viewpoint lurking behind the effort at levity.

West said Thursday he would seek the presidency as an independent candidate, choosing to forgo a run with the Green Party. The decision complicates his ability to get on the ballot—if he had won the Green nomination, it would have ensured ballot access in nearly 20 states with the potential for close to all 50 states.
