Speaking at a town hall in Washington, D.C., Tuesday, President Donald Trump stated that in order for his $1 trillion infrastructure to succeed, he plans on cutting regulations preventing states speedily enacting new building projects. After pointing to a chart illustrating the legislative process states must undergo prior to beginning highway construction projects, POTUS added “it can take anywhere between 10, if you’re really good, 10 years to 20 years, and then they vote and you lose.” Read more: http://dailycaller.com/2017/04/04/trump-breaks-out-the-chart-to-explain-1-trillion-infrastructure-plan-video/#ixzz4dNZgYYod

You have probably concluded from the first three essays in this series that I am a Christian. You would be correct to assume so. I am one of the 2.2 billion people on this planet that shape their worldview based on the principle that Jesus of Nazareth was more than man. Like all Christians, I fail frequently in my attempts to live up to the standard set by Christ, and I rely on a belief that God accepts my frailty and forgives my transgressions as I recognize, repent from, and atone for them. I would imagine my view of Christianity...

If you read Essay 2 titled Prove It you might be thinking that I have nothing left to write about. Is there much left to say once you go the “is there a God” route? Actually, I believe the question of the existence of a higher power is the starting point in solving all problems. It is the most debated yet simplest question man has ever asked. You see, if you can not come to an answer to the question of God you have no foundation to balance any subsequent beliefs upon. Literally, every answer to every question in our...

Do you remember being a kid and attempting to debate grown up topics with friends? I remember from my youth having a friend whose father was an atheist. After hearing frequently his father mock and criticize theists and religious people, my young friend became rather indoctrinated. By the age of 10, he could take up the arguments he’d heard a million times around the home and challenge classmates and children in the neighborhood. To be that young and such a cynic seems awfully sad now as I look back. In retrospect I suppose my childhood pal figured if he could...

Norwegian journalist Sven Egil Omdal has accused Progress Party politician Sylvi Listhaug of promoting racism and xenophobia by wearing a Crucifix in public. Next to a picture of Listhaug, Omdal wrote this message on Facebook (excuse the translation):

Don’t buy into the notion that the bad actors in the Islamic faith only exist because of America’s actions in the Middle East. Long before we ever put a boot on the ground in that part of the world, Muslims were showing what their faith was all about. For every person that has ever claimed that Islam is a religion of peace, there have been plenty around to dispute them. Some will try to convince you that Islam’s critics of the past were motivated by racism or xenophobia, but the concerns most often voiced seem only to focus on the...

Adam Hobbes of Reaxxion wrote one of the more insightful columns I’ve read on the subject of transgenderism. It was titled “Why We Need To Fight Against Transgender Acceptance”. Hobbes asserts in his work that the greatest danger with the transgender movement is that it forces us to “give up our minds” to accept something fundamentally untrue. This is obviously problematic, and affects issues far beyond public restrooms and who plays on which sport teams. As Hobbes explains, when one accepts the lie of transgenderism the slippery slope turns into a cliff of despair. Polygamy, pedophilia, zoophilia, and anything else...

President Trump’s speech today at CPAC is expected to be one of gratitude and celebration. However, six years ago the tone was much different. When he was just a billionaire property developer and reality TV star, Donald Trump went to CPAC with the hopes of building a little conservative street cred among a group that really wasn’t sure they wanted him there. In fact, it’s been reported that Mr. Trump had to purchase his speaking slot with a donation to the event’s host, the American Conservative Union.

Milo Yiannopoulos has had a wild year. If you pay attention to the news cycle at all you have surely heard of the constant controversy that surrounds this young man. His recent personal and professional crisis over statements made a year ago, has thrown gas on the fire of liberal “haters” bent on ending his career. The left despises Milo, which tells me he’s on to something. In the era of Trump, Milo has reinforced some of the same truths that our new President used to wake up the silent majority. One of those truths is simply the basic premise...

Sen. Rand Paul seemed thoroughly impressed with the Trump administration’s first thirty days during his appearance on ABC’s This Week. When asked about the President’s performance the Senator had this to say:

During President Trump’s epic news conference held Thursday he was asked by April Ryan (correspondent for American Urban Radio Networks) if he planned to include any members of the Congressional Black Caucus in discussions about a nationwide urban agenda. The president’s response showed some of his frustrations with the liberal members of the Caucus:

Tucker Carlson of Fox News interviewed Washington Post opinion writer Erik Wemple on Tuesday to discuss bias in the media. Carlson touched on a number of examples of bias, but buckled the Post’s writer when he challenged him on the paper’s willingness to print stories bought and paid for by and favorable to the Kremlin.

Univision news anchor and host of Spanish language television show Noticiero Univision has returned to the English speaking news circuit to take on President Trump. If you recall, Ramos was escorted out of a Trump press conference during the campaign for interrupting and not allowing the candidate to take questions from other reporters. Ramos has had quite a lot to say in recent days about the more than 600 illegal alien arrests made just last week across at least 11 states .

For some time now we have been hearing media pundits, politicians, and celebrities tell us that the Russians stole the election from the grasps of Hillary Clinton and gave it to Donald Trump. Personally, I don’t understand how some emails being released could have caused such a huge electoral college shellacking. Donald Trump won by 74 votes (a margin that by Presidential election standards is not even close). Nevertheless, I like to think I am a fair person. That is why I’ll play along for a moment with the notion that the Russians successfully swayed the opinions of millions of...
