Help. I use Hotmail for my email and cannot get into my email box. Is this happening to anyone else? I keep getting the message regarding "Certificate Error." I have gone to the Tools window, and Advanced tab, and changed all back to the default settings. I have restarted my computer. I still cannot get to my email and still get the certificate error message. This happens when I use either Internet Explorer, or Firefox. Any suggestions? Ugh!

George W. Bush has praised the 40 passengers and crew who fought back against their Flight 93 hijackers on 9/11 for carrying out what he described as one of the most courageous acts in U.S. history. The former president was at a ceremony on Saturday dedicating a memorial at the nation's newest national park in Shanksville, Pennsylvania, as the U.S. marks the 10th anniversary of the terror attacks.

Federal appeals court on Thursday rejected Virginia's challenge to President Obama's health care law, saying in a ruling that the state doesn't have a right to bring a lawsuit. The unanimous decision from the three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals overturns a lower court's decision to declare the law unconstitutional and is the second appellate court ruling in favor of the government's right to require individuals to buy health insurance or pay a penalty. But the court on Thursday stopped short of ruling whether the individual mandate in the health care law is constitutional; it strictly...

  • Government To Use ‘Secret Shoppers’ to ‘Spy’ on Doctors

Secret shoppers aren’t anything new. Retail stores use them regularly to gather customer service data. But what happens when the government uses them to check up on doctors across the country? Is that going too far? That‘s exactly what’s about to happen to over 4,000 doctors in nine states. The New York Times reports that 4,185 doctors in Florida, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia — 465 in each state — will be getting stealth calls from people posing as potential patients. The point is to see if doctors are discriminating against those with...

On the June 14 edition of NBC's "Today," President Barack Obama ascribed part of the blame for the high unemployment rate to ATMs, yet most media outlets continue to ignore the gaffe. "There are some structural issues with our economy where a lot of businesses have learned to become much more efficient with a lot fewer workers," lectured Obama in an interview with NBC's Ann Curry. "You see it when you go to a bank and you use an ATM, you don't go to a bank teller, or you go to the airport and you're using a kiosk instead of...

The debate in Washington is serious as a heart attack: whether the United States should raise its debt ceiling so it can borrow more money to stay afloat. The statutory ceiling on our national debt—our legal borrowing limit—is $14.3 trillion. That limit was reached, according to the Treasury Department, on May 16. ---snip--- Congressional Republicans have made their stand clear: They will agree to raise the limit only if it is accompanied by spending cuts or reforms. The Democrats want to raise the ceiling, period. ---snip--- Something is needed to shock the system. ---snip--- Talks on the debt ceiling will...

---snip--- "Clearly Assange is delighted that his leaks have gained international attention. And so delighted are the Russians with his anti-American raison d'être that they suggested he be rewarded with a Nobel Prize! It is obvious that "president" Obama is pleased as well. Hence the complete lack of reaction or sanction not only from Attorney General Eric Holder, who seems never to have met a thug he didn't like, but especially from Mr. Obama himself, who to this day cannot bring himself to speak out against Assange. In an article entitled "The lunatic who thinks he's Barack Obama," Spengler writes:...

A(Dec. 15) -- Heidi Jones, a weather anchor for ABC's New York City affiliate and an occasional forecaster on "Good Morning America," was suspended today after being arrested for allegedly lying to police about being sexually assaulted. The WABC-TV weather anchor told police last month that a Hispanic man tried to rape her while she was jogging in Central Park on Sept. 24. But Jones has since admitted making the whole thing up, police told AOL News today. WABC-TV announced the suspension today during a noon broadcast. ----snip----(Dec. 15) -- Heidi Jones, a weather anchor for ABC's New York City...

With South Carolina's victory of the first 'Deep South' black Republican to Congress since Reconstruction, one conservative thinks it's evident that the tea party is not racist. Ron Miller, a conservative author, columnist, veteran and tea party member, says Tim Scott's election to Congress is "an impressive victory." People have been trying to state accurately how many people Glenn Beck drew for his rally in DC. Of course, all have been referring to those who attended there. Estimates have been made from ground level photos, areal views, calculations by square footage of the mall divided by the amount of space a person occupies…and standing shoulder to shoulder, comparisons to previous rallies and events there, and even comparing the crowds to how many people fill various football stadiums. The assumptions for calculating the crowd go on and on. However, forgotten in those calculations are the number of people under...

Imam Feisal Abdel Rauf claims that the U.S. constitution is Sharia compliant. Now let us examine below a few laws of Sharia to see how truthful Imam Rauf is: 1- Jihad, defined as “to war against non-Muslims to establish the religion,” is the duty of every Muslim and Muslim head of state (Caliph). Muslim Caliphs who refuse jihad are in violation of Sharia and unfit to rule.snip 3- A Caliph is exempt from being charged with serious crimes such as murder, adultery, robbery, theft, drinking and in some cases of rape. 4- A percentage of Zakat (charity money) must go...

When arguing against those who support building the Islamic mosque in close proximity to where the Twin Towers fell - engulfed in flames and dust from the Jihadist attack - because Liberals feel it is the Constitutional right of Muslims to build it: Just employ the “KISS” (Keep It Simple Stupid) principle. Just give them the facts: - New York City has more than 100 mosques. - There are over 2,000 mosques in the United States. - Other NYC property to build the Cordoba mosque has been offered, free of charge to the planners. - No one is denying them,...
