I just saw a Bud Light commercial that I’d never seen before. A young woman in a bar bellies up to the bar for 5 Bud Lights, which she picks up free hand and begins to carry across a crowded room. At on point she encounters a slightly older man carry 4 beers, but on a tray. She finally makes it to her table, which is all women. The frat days are over. Bud Light, in their own world, is the beer of chicks and chicks with dicks.

I haven't watched FNC since 11/4/2020 and survived. You can too. The Bud Light boycott is already showing results. Two people have been put on "leave of absence" (fired). Turn off FNC and similar results can occur. Beside, if you watch FNC for 1 hours, you've seen everything newsworthy you're going to see there all day, anyway. The rest is just fluff and filler. Try Newmax, OANN or just your local news (not the network broadcast). Add a little FR and CFP and you'll get all the news you need for the day.

Does anyone know of a site where I can volunteer to take in refugees fleeing the situation in Ukraine? I have room for 1 female, age 18 to 36, preferably blonde and shapely. I have a spare room, too, so if she has a sister, she can come, too.

My 30 yr old nephew, my late brothers son, passed away yesterday after a very brief episode of respiratory distress. His wife explained that about 3 days ago he came down with a mild cough and began feeling poorly. He got tested and was negative for COVID-19. He had been vaccinated in February, 2021. Yesterday morning, he awoke and his wife says he felt okay so she left him in bed and went out, for whatever reason. She returned at noon to find him unresponsive. She called 911 and the paramedics were unable to revive him. They did mention that...

I'd like to make a contribution to Joni Ernst, but her website requires an address and email. I don't want to get put on every mail and email list out there, so how can I make a contribution without providing this information? Lying is not an option.

Anybody else here have to annual goals identification and assesment as part of their annual review? I was looking at what they want me to enter. The categories are Quality, Growth (company), Profitability (company), and Human Capital/Development. I am a software developer. I write what they tell me to write, so I don't see where I have anything to contribute here, except to the Quality item. The company won't pay for training, so the Human Capital/Development issue is completely out of my hands. The "free" training that is offered is either BS "touchy / feely" crap I don't want or...

What issue could unite a Republican lawmaker from Southern California and a 46-year-old lesbian from Natomas? Guns, of course. A bill introduced in the state Assembly last month aims to make it easier for Californians to obtain a concealed weapons permit.

April 25, 2008 -- THE New York Times' news room is bracing for a bloodbath in the next 10 days. The word from inside is that approximately 50 unionized journalists have accepted the buyout proposal, and only another 20 non-union editorial employees have gotten on board. That means the ax could fall on as many as 30 editorial people in the company's first-ever mass firing of journalists in its 156-year history.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) - John McCain toured still hurricane-damaged areas of New Orleans and declared that if the disaster had happened on his watch, he would have immediately landed his plane at the nearest Air Force base. The Republican presidential candidate is campaigning this week in what he calls forgotten areas of the country. He offered a pledge Thursday to New Orleans residents that their situation will not be forgotten and that such a botched disaster response will never happen again. McCain was unsparing in his criticism of the Bush administration. He said Congress must share some of the blame,...

Here is a CSV list of all of the Senate fax numbers. I've been using Efax.com to blast them each a fax letting them know how I feel about the immigration issue. I recommend everyone do that daily. Efax is free for the first 30 days. You can cut and paste this into a file, then import it into the Efax Messenger address book. This will load all the individual number. After you've done this, create a group of all of the senators and you can send them all a fax with just a few clicks. Good luck! ------ Begin...

What large companies advertise in Newsweek? I think the most effective way to make our opinions of their slanted reporting widely known and to make the feel some pain for being so Anti-American would be to contact those advertisers that enable them by providing them with advertising revenue. A complaint campaign is in order, and those that don't drop their support need to feel the heat of a boycott. I firmly believe that voting with your wallet is one of the most effective ways of dealing with these people and companies.

It seems to me we haven't been hearing about a lot of Coalition soldiers being killed lately. Is this a sign of demoralization of the insurgents?

Company says time not right for plant By Dale Kasler Bee Staff Writer (Published June 2, 2001) Electricity generator Mirant Corp., citing the highly charged political climate in California, said Friday that it's delaying construction of a critically needed power plant in the Bay Area. The 530-megawatt plant won't go into operation until 2003 but is expected to be part of Gov. Gray Davis' long-term solution for the state's energy crisis. Atlanta-based Mirant, which owns several plants in the Bay Area, got its permits for the plant Tuesday. Instead of starting construction right away, as is typical, the company will ...
