I understand how it must feel to see the abuse.

It’s almost hilarious to see MSNBC (MSBHO) defending the Black “farmer” giveaway. Anyone who has a potted plant and is black gets $50,000 because of “discrimination” by the USDA. Oh please......

Bottom line, the Democrats don’t get it. They’re ‘rats. They need to be exterminated from Congress. And I think I have a way to attract the youth vote. It could be an ad like this. Air it on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, etc.:

“Michelle and Barack Obama have been campaigning on anti-obesity. They have taken away soda machines and tasty lunches from your schools, taking away your freedom to choose. Yet the Obamas have been seen at steakhouses in Colorado and burger places in Washington DC, consuming upwards of 1000 calories in 1 meal. Barack and Michelle Obama: One set of rules for themselves, another for everyone else. Support individual freedom: tell your parents to vote Republican.”

    Then, a more serious ad.

“Barack Obama said he wanted “change” in 2008. But look at what that’s done to us. Unemployment is over 9%, gas prices are skyrocketing, and the national debt is over 14 trillion dollars. Kids, this election is important because your future is on the line. If we don’t solve our deficit problem, America will not be the best country in the world anymore. The country will not be the way it used to be. Kids, tell your parents to vote Republican for a new direction, and stay involved to make sure this won’t happen ever again. I’m “GOP Nominee’s Name” and I approve this message because it’s time for a President who cares about our children.”

I think we should just end the entitlements.

We’re not slaves now, unlike what OBONGO wants us to think.

  • Most Voters Fear Debt Deal Will Raise Taxes Too Much, Cut Spending Too Little

    Amen!

The only way we can actually get cuts is if we cut right away. Slash government spending. At the very minimum, return spending to pre-2006 levels and enact Cut/Cap/Balance and the Ryan plan(I think there’s some overlap, but disregard that). As Andrew Johnson said, the goal is for a poor government but a rich people.

Every deal seems to be just smoke and mirrors. Even “cut-cap-balance” won’t balance our budget for more than a decade.

In order to “pay down the debt”, we can’t run a deficit.

It’s time for real spending cuts now.

The only debt ceiling deal I’d ever agree to is one that cuts enough spending that the ceiling doesn’t have to be raised.
