  • Why Are Government Employee Labor Unions Legal?

    07/01/2005 1:46:04 PM PDT · 16 of 24
    Bart Mann to Rodney King

Rodney, you are completely and totally wrong. There is nothing 'free' about a union. It is organized thuggery that has no place in our government, our schools, or frankly anywhere in our free nation. Let's be clear about what the union is. It is THE mechanism for Socialist governence and the tool of our enemies.

Like our friends from behind the former Iron Curtain who love Democracy because they have seen the evil tyranny of Communism, I grew up in Union country, and have seen first hand the oppression that it brings. The rotten smell of socialism clings to our unionist leftys as they work to destroy the foundations of our freedom.

Go down to your local free paper rack and pick up a pro-union rag. It will become quite clear to you where their loyalties lie. The author of this article is exactly right. There is NO PLACE FOR UNIONS IN GOVERNMENT EMPLOYMENT!

It is seared, seared in my mind because some grunt dropped the hot bong right on my head!

Every time I hear Kerry say "I believe...", it reminds me of the Steve Martin bit where he goes into the "What I believe" bit. Except Steve was more believable.

Kerry is no hero. Some have served, yet deserve no respect. He is one of those. He dirtied the uniform he wore, and slandered those left behind.

My dad, a Marine who fought in the Palau islands and in numerous recon missions, never, ever brought up his service. Only with great prodding would he discuss some of what he went through. I learned that Honor is what you do when nobody is looking.

    I'm not Fonda Kerry.

Stick with a company that has stood firm through the years, like Ruger. Smith and Wesson has got lots of 'splaining to do.

Ronald Reagan carried the water for all pro-life people in this generation. He took tremendous heat for his pro-life views, and used the bully-pulpit well on the unborn's behalf. It is only now, when the world can view the ultrasounds, and read reports from those who have been there that the critical mass is changing towards life.

Mr. President...rest easy. You did your part. It is up to us to carry the water now.

Abortion is the slaughter of the innocent. It is a crime against humanity, and we must work tirelessly against it wherever it is committed.

I used to work for them when it was still SciMed. BS is gobbling up little guys faster than Anna Nicole.

It's time to stop acquisitions, and start delivering profits.

Zogby has been spelling doom for Bush this entire election cycle. I just don't buy it. Maybe Zogby's diaper around his head needs another fan belt to keep it out of his eyes.

The only thing that will make Kerry win in an 'October Suprise'.

Canada is a sick joke. It is what we would become if the liberals retake power.

Now, if they could just do something about their French problem...

I agree. It is better to have an opponent clearly defined, rather than a wolf in sheep's clothing occupying the office. Protecting the incumbent at all costs is short term thinking, and will cost us far more than making the hard decisions now. I would gladly lose Susan Collins, Lincoln Chafee, Olympia Snowe and The Spectre of Death than win the majority.

Heck, we can't get a nominee past the Senate without 60 votes anyway.

One would think that the 'negative waves' emanating like the stink from rotting fish coming from the rats would drive people to vote for Republicans. But it seems to work. The people who have not yet seen the light are all confused by how 'mean' Republicans seem to be, and how good things were under Willy.

The people most susceptible to their rhetoric are Christians, especially older ones that rely on Dan Rather Not Vote Republican for their news.

I am struggling even with my own extended family, who think that somehow Democrats are for the little guy.

How proud his mother must be. The indoctrination was completely successful.

Funny how Vietnam vets are 'baby killers' and pro-aborts are 'defenders of women'.

Bush is making a big mistake supporting Spectre. For pro-lifers, Spectre's win would nix any chance of getting a proper conservative on the USSC, and give us another Souter or Kennedy. I will never understand how Republicans support our enemies, and then act suprised when they 'turn'.

Bush should simply turn the other cheek.

We have 1.3 million abortions a year in the U.S., and there is handwringing because of 13 prosecutions? Unbelievable.

Let's stop the flood of misery and death. Abortion IS murder of the most despicable variety. If we have to prosecute 10,000 abortionists and murderous women, fine.

Fur is fur, abortion is murder.

Your comparison of the human brain to a 'reptilian' one is sickening and inhuman. And frankly, the development of the human brain is a life long endeavor which should never be cut short for convienience. The author's point is that the unborn child reacts physically to being torn apart, just as any human would. I think his professional credentials are far higher than yours, since he is the expert witness here.

I find it idiotic to cling to the liberal line that a pre-born baby feels nothing. There is absolutely no evidence to support that position, and it defies logic to suppose otherwise.

Why are you afraid to stand by your support for abortion?

"It is nice that he "believes" this and all, but a competent neurophysiologist could tear him to pieces."

As in a partial birth abortion?

"The parts of the brain required for consciousness are developed post-natal, and the only part of the brain that is really even online in a fetus is the most low-level reptilian parts that are essential to running basic life support."

Reptilian? Uh, let let me guess. Abortion on demand, but fur is murder, right?

I will never understand how people can put aside all reason and logic and humanity to defend the murder of the unborn. I'll make it simple so you can understand. A baby is a baby is a baby.

"Articles like this make me cringe."

The truth hurts, when you live a life of lies.

What a bunch of loons! Good thing Airhead America has those public service spots to keep them going.

I forced myself to sit through some of this drivel a couple of times on AM1330 in Minneapolis, and it was Al Frankly, quite boring. It was hard to get riled up when you see them stumble around so.

Frankenpuss and Lampnerd are an embarrassment to my state, but then again, so were Mondale and Wellstone.

I guess I am an extremist, since I believe abortion is a crime.

What I would like to see is the pro-life people start up a TV campaign, similar to the anti-cigarette spots we see. A small child, sitting alone at the dinner table, looking at an empty chair, or standing alone with his baseball glove, or the empty stocking on the fireplace mantle on Christmas Day.

Or an angel holding a brand new baby, and crying.

I agree with sitkaspruce. You have to go at them where they hide, and in this case, it is the tribal region. Just like in Iraq where we couldn't find Saddam until we started arresting bigshots in Tikrit, the only way to flush them out is to make their buddies uncomfortable.

I don't see the big benefit to having Musharref around anyway. It just makes it harder to target our enemies. The Libya connection should have allowed us to use the Bush Doctrine on the Paki government, and quit pussyfooting around with these people.

Emotional? Maybe. That is what happens when the issue is life and death. A baby is a baby is a baby, and a human is a human from the moment one cell becomes two. Why is it that the pro-abortion crowd can rant and rave against laws that protect the most vulnerable, and call us pro-lifers the intolerant ones?

Fur is fur. Abortion is murder.
