Sorry if this poll has already been posted, I did a search and couldn't find. I got an email from a neighbor who for whatever reason just assumed we were liberals (typical lib arrogance) and asked us to skew this MSNBC poll...so I thought, thanks for the link, I'll send it right on over to my friends at Free Republic. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29493093/
  • Fred Thompson's globalist pedigree (cue spooky music)

Voters and pundits alike are claiming that a potential Fred Thompson run for the White House could "save" the conservative movement that has been betrayed by President George W. Bush. Such a claim defies the facts, because Thompson's political pedigree includes Bush-like globalist credentials. The core values of the average voter in Tennessee are very conservative. This fact has produced Democrats that voted overwhelmingly for Ronald Reagan. But, out of misguided local loyalty, the conservative voters in Tennessee have also repeatedly elected homegrown globalists. Among them are prominent United States Sens. Howard Baker, Bill Frist, Lamar Alexander, and – yes –...
  • Schwarzkopf Weighs In

It was just reported on Fox News by Jim Angle that Norman Schwarzkopf issude a statement regarding the absentee votes of military personnel. In their defense of postmark irregularities, he said (paraphrased) servicemen overseas don't have the luxury of jumping into a car and dropping a ballot off at a post office, that their is no easy way to get the vote of the military from the front lines back to the states.
  • Cheney/radio interview

    Radio Station WJR 760 Detroit | 9/26/00 | me
Dick Cheney just had an interview with conservative radio host David Newman on WJR 760 Detroit. This was to make up for the interview he missed a week or so ago, evidently due to some kind of communication snafu. I thought he did quite well, answering charges that were made by a caller from a previous show that his work experience reflected a conflict of interest with "big oil." Cheney was able to effectively explain that he did NOT work for an oil company, and that his experience should be considered an asset. He answered other questions, including one regarding George ...
  • George Bush: Read Al Gore's book to voters

George Bush: Read Al Gore’s book to voters     Vice-President Al Gore inked the perfect blueprint for victory in Michigan and other Midwestern battleground states.     Now, George W. Bush should read it to voters.     Gore, back in 1992, penned a baffling tome outlining his vision for America’s industrial heartland — essentially, silent smokestacks, lost jobs, obsolete workers. Earth in the Balance is a dense collection of junk science and doom and gloom warnings about everything from global warming to global birth rates. It’s also a declaration of war on the automobile industry, and most other ...
  • Why did Cheney stiff radio appearance?

    Radio Station WJR 760 Detroit | 9/13/00
This morning, Dich Cheney was suppose to appear on the metro Detroit area's most powerful radio station, WJR 760, on the David Newman show. The articulate David Newman is an extremely fair, but tough conservative host. Throughout his show this morning, he expressed his disappointment several times that an interview that was suppose to take place, and for which they had gone through a great deal of trouble in setting up, had fallen through, without any satisfactory explanation. What I can't understand is why the Bush/Cheney ticket not only doesn't spend more time on the local talk radio circuit (something Buchanan ...
