  • [UPDATE] Missourians Unite for Constitutional Integrity (need momentum)(vanity)

A while back, I sent an email (see linked thread) to the Governor of Missouri and copied both my State Representative and Speaker of the Missouri House. I received one reply (thus far) and it was from my State Rep. He told me he would query the Secretary of State regarding what she did to validate Mr. Obama's credentials. What follows is the reply from the office of the Secretary of State to my representative's assistant, and my reply.

That provision in the constitution which requires that the president shall be a native-born citizen (unless he were a citizen of the United States when the constitution was adopted,) is a happy means of security against foreign influence, which, whereever it is capable of being exerted, is to he dreaded more than the plague. The admission of foreigners into our councils, consequently, cannot be too much guarded against; their total exclusion from a station to which foreign nations have been accustomed to, attach ideas of sovereign power, sacredness of character, and hereditary right, is a measure of the most consummate...

'Twas the night before Christmas, he lived all alone, in a one bedroom house made of plaster and stone. I had come down the chimney with presents to give, and to see just who in this home did live. I looked all about, a strange sight I did see, no tinsel, no presents, net even a tree. No stocking by mantle, just boots filled with sand, on the wall hung pictures of far distant lands. With medals and badges, awards of all kinds, a sober thought came through my mind. For this house was different, it was dark and dreary,...

Sent: Monday, December 08, 2008 9:58 AM To: Mike Cunningham; Rod Jetton Subject: Copy of Request to Governor re: Qualifications of Barak Obama Dear Governor: I respectively request to know how our Secretary of State validated Senator Obama's qualifications to appear on the Presidential ballot. Further, I request you review the procedure followed to validate such qualifications to ensure compliance with the Constitution and laws of the State of Missouri. Finally, I pray you do this most expeditiously and make a public announcement that you are, or are not satisfied, that Senator Obama meets the basic US Constitutional qualifications to...

Division of the human family into 2 distinct political groups began some 12,000 years ago. Humans existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunter/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains in the summer & would go to the beach & live on fish & lobster in winter. The 2 most important events in all of history were the invention of beer & the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization & together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into 2 distinct subgroups:...

WATERBURY, Conn. — A criminal defense attorney has been arrested on a disorderly conduct charge involving kissing as a crime. Ralph Crozier, 55, of Southbury was arrested Thursday for kissing a female judicial marshal at Waterbury Superior Court on Dec. 22. Crozier said state police investigators told him the marshal did not invite him to kiss her, which was why criminal charges were filed. "This is the biggest baloney I've ever seen in my life," Crozier said Thursday. "How many tens of thousands of people in Connecticut wished their co-workers and friends 'Merry Christmas' the day before Christmas?" The incident...

I am submitting this as a Letter to the Editor based on the terrible, and largely inaccurate, article I read by Andy Mosher. he knows there is a good side to the story of Reconstruction in Iraq; he saw it! yet he chose to write a negative story based on old SIGIR findings. Why? Don't you want the American people to know the truth? Why Won’t They Tell You the Truth? After spending almost three days traveling with and being interviewed by one of the co-writers of a very poorly written article (“Much Undone in Rebuilding Iraq, Audit says”, Washington Post,...

If Marines did shoot and kill women and children, either in rage or reprisal after the killing of one of their own, and if this alleged atrocity was covered up, those responsible must be punished. That such things happen in every war, even "the Good War," does not excuse them. But if we are agreed upon that, Haditha, nevertheless -- and again assuming the charges are true -- is going to wound this country deeply and divide us bitterly. For two cultures are heading for a collision. The first is the culture of the Marine Corps, hierarchical and familial. Marines...

Democrats have consistently stood in the way of lower energy prices for American families. Whether it's higher taxes, more regulation, blocking new exploration, or oposing the conservation measures in last year's energy bill, Democrats in control of Congress would mean higher prices at the pump.
