  • State Poll Results

As many people have mentioned this campaign, the National race was really the sum of the many state races. Accordingly, I have recorded the accuracy for the State Polls, along the course of this year, and here I note the accuracy for their final picks. All the information I used was published on Real Clear Politics. There were 50 state races, along with the District of Columbia (for which there were no public polls), and there were 14 states considered “Battleground”. I noted the calls each poll made for a state, as well as the accuracy for their specific range...
  • Who's the most nervous person in America?

George Bush? No. Terry McAuliffe? Nope. Michael Moore? No way. There is only one person in America today who can qualify as the most nervous person in America. John Edwards made his fame and fortune as an ambulance chasing trial lawyer, who almost single handedly made the medical professional less lucrative to practice, and almost single handedly wiped out all the OB/Gyn's because of the liability coverage they now have to carry. John Edwards served his one term in the United States Senate, and has literally nothing to show for it. There was no one to sue. So he ran...
  • Now it's payback time for Bush's staunch allies

PARIS George Bush's European IOU list is relatively short. Vladimir Putin stands right up close to the top - a Russian expressing "joy" at America's presidential choice has to find his reward. Silvio Berlusconi, subject of so much condescension among Europeans, has held the line in Italy while under heavy fire about Iraq, and gets some kind of serious favor down the line. . But it is Tony Blair who is owed the moon. He has taken Iraqi heat of an intensity in London that Bush never really felt from Americansp>
  • Chirac 'snubs' Allawi at EU talks

The French president has decided to leave an EU summit just before a meeting with interim Iraqi Prime Minister Iyad Allawi. Mr Allawi is due to join EU leaders as guest of honour at the summit lunch in Brussels. But Jacques Chirac, an outspoken critic of the war in Iraq, says he has prior engagements and will not attend. Correspondents say the move is seen as a clear snub to Mr Allawi who has called for broader involvement in Iraq. Mr Allawi has urged "spectator countries" to become actively involved in the reconstruction of Iraq. The EU leaders are expected...

The president’s performance at his press conference this morning was nothing short of a master piece. Think about it my friends, here’s this one man standing tall and confident, who stuck it to a room full of guys of which 98% of them voted against him! And with class.

Allow me to post this again for those who attacked me without reading the whole thing. For those who have doubted my sincerity , let me say this, I am a Bush supporter to the core not only on policy but his life experience touches me personally. As to comments by some of you about my friend Hillary mentioned below, she is not, repeat, not Hillary Rodham! She is definitely a childhood friend and currently resides in Seattle, Washington. The stakes in this election couldn’t be higher and for Bush to finish what he has to do in the next...

Hello everyone, let me introduce myself. My name is Al Mamlouk , I’m Muslim born in Damascus, Syria, lived most of my adult life between the Middle East, U.S.A. and Europe, currently residing in France (for professional reasons rather than choice). I wanted to share with you this email I wrote a while back to a childhood friend from the U.S.A. who grew up with me in Beirut, Lebanon. In a heated discussion over the war in Iraq, and 4 months after the fall of Baghdad, it was in response to a statement she made at the time where she...
